Asphyx-Abomination Echoes

This is the six 7" box set version on black vinyl. Apparently, there are clear vinyl and picture disc variants, but I went with black vinyl because this version was supposed to come with a bonus cassette. Mine did not, despite being advertised as such on CM Distro's website (the German one).

Oh well, it's likely too much trouble than it's worth to go through the whole returns process, and besides, the material contained on the six 7"s is more than enough to satisfy my old school DM kick. Asphyx are "new to me" and I'm very much looking forward to delving into their catalog. I figured I'd start with the earliest stuff and work my way forward, and this box set is a convenient and collectible way to do so.

if you didn't get what you paid for [what was advertised] you need to tell them so they have the opportunity to make it right, they'd possibly just send out the missing stuff.
i'm new to them too, i somehow managed to not hear anything for years ha ha i'd heard all the other big dutch metal bands though, got any photos?
it would look good sitting on my kitchen table :-D

Just unloaded my saved up cash at Armageddon and a local hardcore show, and got some cool stuff, many of which were blind buys.
Gluecifer - Soaring With Eagles At Night To Rise With The Pigs In The Morning (Awesome garage rock, I dig)
Rebaelliun - Burn the Promised Land
Sacrilege - Beyond the Realms of Madness/Within the Prophecy (Heard good things, and the vocalist was hot as fuck circa 1980something, so why not)
Runemagick - Voyage to Desolation/Dawn of the End
Filth of Mankind - The Final Chapter
God Dethroned - Lair of the White Worm (Had this a while ago, but stupidly traded it away, a great album)
Tales of Darknord - Dismissed (Russian death metal with hilarious production, I'm not sure if I like it yet, I'll need to listen again)
Molly Hatchet - Super Hits (OH FUCK YEAH)
Crude - S/T EP (Japanese D-Beat or something like that with some nice Chingrish song titles, should be fun)
The Freeze - Land of the Lost CS (I love this band, one of my favorite old Boston hardcore/punk bands to listen to)
Negazione - Tour CS (They were mentioned in Maximum Rock N Roll, but I never got to listening to them)
Closed Door Photozine #2 (Which I'm in, remarkably non-photogenic like usual, I look like I'm trying to take a shit)
A few old Maximum Rock N Rolls for like a dollar each, some good bathroom reading

Both sides are short but pretty good and build up to some really cool endings. The Odz Manouk is a little bit doomier than usual, but I slightly prefer the other releases. The Absum is the first I've heard of the band and has some beautiful moments.

Unfortunately I've only listened online and have yet to spin the album since it arrived slightly bent and is now sitting under a stack of books!

The album art for the vinyl edition of their "Dooom" album is even better IMO.

Here's a picture of all three versions of it (Vinyl, CD & tape)

Worship are a pretty awesome band, albeit very depressing. Very good music, but not something I can listen to every day.
