New lineup confirmed! I will be collaborating on new material with these people, along them playing live slots.

Markov Soroka - Guitars/Vocals
Jesse McCoy (Tyranny Enthroned) - Guitars/Vocals
Winston Allevator (Tyranny Enthroned) - Orchestral Arrangement/Keyboard
Tim Callahan - Drums

We're still looking for a bass player... If you live in the St. Louis area, you should contact us.

Getting started on a new song with the title Aeon Eternium. It's going to be rather long, with symphonic doom sections, chaotic black and death metal blasting, many clean vocals, and a depressive/melodic atmosphere throughout. Stay tuned.

Québécois*

It's a positive comment, not really a "review". The guy says good thing about the music even though he thinks the artwork is ugly :)

Keep it up Marky.

Finally got around to updating members, and the OP. Thanks for the current support, guys! We're trying to shoot for a split, and also, the Aura Titian demo CDs are being printed! Who wants one? PM me if you're interested! So far it might just be a very small amount of money + shipping.

Nice man. You should definitely get a band picture though. Just the logo is pretty ghetto.

Try and copy/rescan your band photo several times to achieve that typical BM hazy/noisy atmosphere LOL

Big announcement everyone, we are in the process of acquiring merch!!! So far we have shirts, patches, and buttons on order, hopefully we're going to be adding to that shortly. However, due to limited finances we are only printing 23 shirts this time around (there will be more I promise you.) They're plain black with the logo going across the chest. Small - Extra Large sizes are being sold for $10, and 2xxl's are being sold for $12. Who wants one?

We're gonna have Patch/CD/Shirt deals... Shirts are plain black with the logo going across the chest, Patches are just the logo on it, and CD's are the Aura Titian demos with booklets and jewel cases.

Something like this, probably:

Shirt: $10 (+ $2 for every X- size)
CD (Aura Titian demo) + Shirt: $15 (+ $2 for every X- size)
CD + Shirt + Patch: $16 (+ $2 for every X- size)

Individual prices:

Poster: $5
CD: $4
Shirt: $12

We're a moderately self-sufficient band, but we could use the extra funds for recording costs, future merch, CD prints, etc.
We all work extra jobs, but we hope you can buy some of our promotional stuff so we can afford some new stuff/recording.

Cheers!
-Markov

Whenever I see Eternum mentioned in a 'Zine, I always have to do a double take cause I assume it's you guys suddenly gaining recognition.

You've seen Eternium mentioned in a 'zine? Link that shit! Haha, I'd appreciate it.

Also, Check out MA's own Reiter covering Aura Amethyst into a Funeral-doom/Avant Garde version.

Not many bumps in a while, so figured I'd give you an update.

We've recruited two new members, alongside me and Brent Dossett.
The first is Chad Griffin, who is managing the keys. Personal conversations with him has led me to believe the conclusion that we are both literature/comic book nerds.
The second is Benjamin Schmitt, Who will be managing the lead guitars.

All we need is a drummer!

Here are one of the 8 long-ass pages I wrote to drummers lately:

"I've been writing lengthy messages to all the drummers I know that could even be remotely interested in play for Eternium, but Hell, I'll do it again.
I'm the guitarist/vocalist for Eternium, and I can safely say that not having the drummer is the only thing that's holding us back.
If you look at my profile picture, you'll see that there's a killer show going on September 3rd, with some of the best locals ever.
However, this may not be achieved without a drummer, and time for said drummer to learn the songs.
So please, I know the whole "Looking for "x" player" is old and most people ignore it from most bands, and this is exactly one of those posts.
If any extreme, or even normal drummers want to try out, contact Markov Soroka, Chad Griffin, Benjamin Schmitt, or Brent Dossett
For those unfamiliar, here is the entire demo I have recorded, written, and played myself a while back in April:
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... e=view_all

Thank you in advance."

If anyone here is from the general St. Louis area and drums, please contact us!

Whew. Okay, On a lighter note, let me share how hilariously bad our first practice went:

(Written by Brent Dossett)

"Practice at 6
Guitarist and I show up at 6:30
Keyboardist shows up at 7
Drive another half hour to pick up Markov
Get lost due to blinding rain, add on another 10-15 minutes
Tire blows on way back to practice room
Waits 10 minutes for tow
Markov and I get stranded at a gas station with no means of communication, add on another hour
Finally everyone is reunited and conveniently a taxi pulls in shortly after
Wait for taxi to fill up gas, about 5 minutes
20 minute car ride to practice
Get somewhat lost, add on 10 minutes
Finally between 9:45-10 get to Utopia to jam.
Average day in the life of Eternium."

Also, I can say that the full length writing is going well. I'm also writing all of this, but it's sounding pretty awesome, even out of my MIDI station.

Long post, but I hope it's worth it to update anyone who's been interested in what's going on.

Cheers and thanks for all the support.

-Markov

Here is our rather, cheap looking shot, of the inside of the booklet on the Aura Titian demo CD.

I am on the Right, my bass player and trusted bastard-in-arms, Brent Dossett on the left.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNN9PHwWxiE So Aura Titian is almost at 1,000 views. I like the sound of that. If you haven't checked it out, listen to it here, and if you have already checked out, comment and like it! I always love reading comments on related videos.

Thanks for the continued support. Really.

On September 8th, we will be opening for Vital Remains at Fubar! It should be very interesting, I like their new material to a certain extent, and their old material is very cool indeed.

We'll be playing with locals Unholy Sustenance, Hemorrhaging Elysium, and Carpathian Funeral.
I'll post a flier if we ever get one done.

September 14th -- We're playing the "Death of St. Louis" Death metal festival, featuring 9 of some of the coolest locals I've had the pleasure of seeing.

Also, today, we'll be getting a photoshoot done for the inside cover booklet of future CDs. I'll post them up on here for those who want to see them.
