There is a lot of metal going on right now in Atlanta and some of it is being released by Boris Records, which is run by a friend of mine. I know that there is a third release in the planning stages.

You guys should check it out.

Boris Records will shortly be releasing two separate 7 inches from a pair of Atlanta death metal masters. The test presses have returned for both the Mangled and Disfigurement records and artwork has been chosen. The release date should be later this month or early September.

You'll want to grab the Spewtilator record while you can, because it is a slab of Atlanta metal history and the band has been put on an indefinite hiatus.

The Mangled 7" release Sewer Metal will be available next week at the Boris Records webpage and at the record release show, to be held next Tuesday at the 529 in East Atlanta Village.

The Disfigurement 7" will be available, shortly.

Sadistic Ritual has posted a new song, "Hellish Mercenary", on their ReverbNation page. This is the first recorded song with their current singer.

They opened for Speedwolf a few nights back and smoked. You'll want to keep your eye on these guys.

The Sadistic RItual 7" should be out next month.
