This isn't the final mix and the(silly) intro has been redone, but the gist of the song is in this link, check it out ! Comments and criticisms welcome.

The writing is good, main thing that needs improvement. Is the reverb on the vocals in certain parts. NOT all the way. But give it a try. Cheers \m/

Pretty good stuff, sort of a cross between Absu and Nile, both of which I like.

I'm not a big death metal fan, so maybe I should keep my comments to myself, but I thought it was quite good. I would agree about the vocals, but the reverb is often actually a cool, somewhat unique aspect to the song. Maybe what's problematic with the vocals is an EQ thing? They sound a bit too thin, but if they were made to sound more beefy, I think that reverb would be especially cool. Sorry I'm not knowledgeable enough to be more helpful.

i thought the vocals were fine, the production in general is more than good enough for that style of dm

Thanks for the feedback guys ! Regarding the vocals, we were attempting a take on the Disma kinda feel, a massive and cavernous sound. Watch this space for our upcoming single and full length. More feedback welcome of course !

You might've gotten the Disma vocals, but IMO it doesn't fit what you were going for. The reverb just doesn't sit well with the rest of the instruments. I'd either ditch it for a more upfront in-your-face vocal mix, or just re-balance the whole mix altogether with reverb to achieve cavernosity. Probably the former. It's just a matter of what's more important to you.

Aye. The vocals are nice, as are the instruments, but together, they don't quite work production wise. The instruments sound too, I guess "up front", whilst the vocals are the only, as you say "cavernous" aspect.

Righto. All this will be kept in mind when we approach our second full-length, this song is just a preview of our single(and imo it isn't even the best one on it ;D). Thank you very much guys !

I like it. Kinda reminds me of Sepultura. Good job!

I can't comment much on the actual production since I'm on a shitty laptop aside that i think the vocals are a tad high in the mix.

Other than that I find the sound pretty good and interesting. Good job.

Thanks for the comments guys ! And yes, the rhythm underneath the solo is directly inspired by the Chaos A.D riffing style :P

I dig it, the riffs are really cool, the production is fine, and the vocals are sick but dude, they're too loud. Maybe lower them a bit. I dig the solo and sepultura influences too, good stuff.
