Svartby - Mushroom Rings

I honestly don't get this album (Elemental Tales), just folksy keyboards on top of black metal music, but I find they don't go together at all. Like I was playing normal Black Metal while I was playing some Japanese video game.

Twilight - The Cryptic Ascension

The band has taken a lot of flack over the years, but Monument to Time End is a really solid album. And this opening track is killer.

Yeah, I remember Blake Judd saying in an interview that Malefic was a head case. Great album.

opeth's blackwater park did very little for me.... but the first four opeth records were all excellent, but beyond that there was a huge drop off. Although, I did enjoy damnation. their prog rock effort
