Iron Fire - Ten Years in Space

Martin Steene does a pretty good Oddleif Stensland impression on here...not what I expected. Heavier and meaner than they used to be. This whole album is the weirdest mishmash of influences, from bands like Nocturnal Rites, Dragonland, Pagan's Mind, Nevermore...fuck, it's all over the map.

Pestilence - Malleus Maleficarum / Antropomorphia

Their best album for sure. Killer riffs and great varied songwriting. I'm wondering what could have been had these guys continued on a thrash metal path instead of discovering death metal.
