So I was reading in the booklet for the reissue of Panopticon's debut album that there were several essay that were used as inspiration when making the album that were too long to print in the new booklet. However, they were included with the original release, and I would very much like to read them. I was wondering if anyone who had the first press would mind scanning them and posting them here, or at least posting the titles and authors so I could try to find them? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I guess this could also be a general Panopticon thread since the new album (Kentucky) is coming out soon, as well as a split with Vestiges.

Ugh, you mean Panopticon was even more annoyingly preachy on the original release? Fake, leftist "pagan" bullshit.

I don't think I like you.

I didn't know Panopticon had a new one on the way. Is Kentucky going to be released on CD, or is it another one of those vexing LP-only deals?

I believe it's going to be released on CD. There was actually a review of it in the May issue of Decibel, apparently about half the album is supposed to be banjo-heavy folk music. It's supposed to be pretty good though, I'm kind of curious as to how it'll turn out.

How is this any different than right wing bands who incorporate paganism into their ideology?

I don't see why not, seeing as there's been a CD for everything else he's released.

@Ozenrol The split with Skagos was fantastic, both sides were amazing, but Skagos's is the best, some of the most original black metal I've ever heard on that side. The second Wheels Within Wheels split is pretty awesome if your into shoegaze. "Social Disservices" is alright, but definitely not as good as the other full lengths. Man "Kentucky" is going to be awesome, especially because of the folk/bluegrass being a big part of its sound. Thats what made "Collapse" so unique. Oh, and as for the essays, those would be pretty interesting to read.

I'm excited, Panopticon has been coming a long rather well and I'd like to see the future output this guy does. I was unaware of a split with Vestiges, when's that coming out?

Soon, apparently, but it may have been delayed. I heard there were some legal issues with the first song Panopticon was going to cover.
