Akelei - De Zwaarte

Easily one of my most enjoyed bandcamp discoveries - the atmosphere is wonderful.

Disembowelment - Cerulean Transience of All My Imagined Shores

The album really is a journey through beauty and heaviness.

Who, me?! :p

I love Dawn, but then again anyone who reads my reviews of their discography will understand that, eh.

Currently doing a trip down memory lane and listening to Sirenia's first two albums. I seem to have forgotten how much I like them as they're pretty awesome!

Thrashist Regime - Unisol

Perhaps Scotland's contribution to the thrash revival, and quite tight and well-produced at that.

The Slow Death - The Prodigal Son

I love this song so, so much. It's pretty much everything I've ever wanted from doom metal.

Great band. I got to talk to some of the members at an Overkill concert last night. They are working on new material for not only Sarcolytic, but also Images of Violence.

NP: Warbringer - Future Ages Gone

Love the riffs on this song! :headbang:

That sounds like a killer playlist, I approve.

NP: Bongripper - Hate Ashbury Pt. VII

Some noise before the most excellent closer.

Such a good album and band. I bought the reissue with all of the bonus material (demos, the "Dusk" EP, etc). Great stuff. I recommend picking it up if you haven't already.

Pelican - Parasite Colony

Always enjoyed Pelican, and the new EP is no different. Vocals?! I don't need no stinkin' vocals! :)

Visceral Throne - Unknown

I'd highly recommend checking out their new album: Omnipotent Asperity. Great brutal tech death (it's not too techy).

Sirenia - Sister Nightfall

Huh. I wonder why I've always avoided Sirenia, because I kinda dig 'em so far. Only grabbed the first 2 albums, though.
