Is this album really so hard to find? Any ideas where I can get a copy on whatever format? Thanks a lot! :)

Yeah, really hard to find! Don't get your hopes high with the continuous bootlegs floating around on Ebay. :p I've seen the IRS and UOF presses for sale a few months back but the prices were prohibitive for me.

Another one for the "needs to be reissued bin"! Oh well...

PS: You might get more lucky with a vinyl copy than a CD.

Ok, cheers. Looks like Priceminister (France) have some second-hand copies, might just have to risk it I suppose...

Crazy thing, I found a IRS vinyl copy at a flea market a few months ago for a few bucks. I guess the old guy did not know what he had. I remember him looking at it like "what the hell is this?" when I handed him the records I was buying.

Just checked and they just have vinyl or cassette copies, which means you're probably not taking many risks. It's the CD which has been bootlegged to hell and back. ;)

I was lucky enough to pick up the IRS cd on eBay 2 years ago for a measly 6 pounds :)

There's cassette copies on eBay all the time. I got a copy for $3 shipped recently. As for the CD, yeah I'd just buy a bootleg, there's quality ones out there for $10 or less and you won't risk paying top dollar only to find out you bought one anyway. The band ain't making a dime either way. *Is sure he just opened a can of worms*.

I was lucky finding this release in a swapmeet about 4 years ago. It was the only metal cd and paid only 5 usd! Has several scuffs/scratches, but plays perfectly!!

i had no idea it was that rare. Bought my copy at a local gig and it costed me 75 pesos (less than 7 bucks). as far as i know is an original pressing (IRS being the label and the matrix number is IRSD-42195)

He's Spanish. Aham, care to share the wealth? The exchange rate mustn't me a big deal, but still... :p

"The Plague" can be found for as cheap as 2 euros in excellent condition (org vinyl press). I can see original vinyl copies of "Survive" for as cheap as 5 euros and there are loads of copies available between the price of 7-9 euros. I wouldn't call it rare anyway. It's a nice addition to any collection though.

yeah it's not rare over here either, maybe spain has a nuclear assault black hole ha ha
it'd be pretty sweet having easy access to machetazo stuff though! :headbang:

If you guys think that Spain has a black hole for old classics then you should try living in Portugal...

Damn country only gives a shit about fado and we barely have any decent metal shops around. Even in big town centres they're closing up shop, forcing me ever more to buy everything online. Oh boy, how I miss the good old days of shop hunting...

Anyway, Rotting_Christ_Mike, I already had pointed out above that the vinyl is easier (read: cheaper) to get than the CD.

My friends keep finding copies of the LP all around NSW.

The vinyl is apparently not that hard to track down, only the CD is

I know androdion, I just gave more details  I'll personally never even bother trying to get a CD version of the album because there's a 90% chance that It will be a bootleg. One can never be sure these days...

That's very nice of you but I think just the postage will cost more than buying it on Priceminister...
Thanks a lot though :)

It was somewhere in another thread here, maybe something dealing with going to Hellfest or whatever, can't exactly put my finger on it. But I do recall that both you and "Basquestorm" hail from there. ;)

Ok hehe. I have a really bad memory for names (including nicks obviously) and don't tend to remember who said what when and where
But yeah, Hellfest, man I'm fucking excited about that one :D

i can't stand it when people refuse to remove jewel cases for postage to save me money, but that's another thread...

Ok, I'll see what the deal is with Priceminister and if not I'll give you a shout if that's ok. Thanks a lot :)
