I've had my copy of Vengeance War 'till Death for some time and have occasionally wondered if it might be a bootleg as I have not come across another copy online with the same matrix runout as my copy. Can't find the one I have on Discogs or Musik-Sammler.

The matrix looks like this: VENGEANCE WAR TILL DEATH ML-DISK 2845
There is no IFPI as far as I can tell.

As for Blood & Valour, The matrix on my copy says: 11460 BLOOD AND VALOUR IFPI LW30
I can't find this one listed on Discogs either, but I got it from straight from Osmose, who were/are an official distributor, so I'm hoping that maybe it's a more recent pressing that hasn't been added yet. There is a variant listed on Discogs that reads BLOOD AND VALOUR ML-DISK 2846, which lends a bit of credence to the runout on my copy of VWtD, but I can't tell for sure.

I know there are a few legitimate variants around, but I can't confirm if mine are legit or not. Does anyone have copies with the same matrix? Are they maybe licensed pressings? The inserts say "made in Australia", but obviously that's easy to fake.

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Also, the printed side of the CDs on my copies are reflective, whereas they appear matte online, but it's hard to tell.

Well, my copy of Vengeance War 'til Death is exactly the same as yours VENGEANCE WAR TIL DEATH ML-DISK 2845, whereas my copy of Blood And Valour has BLOOD & VALOUR www.duplication.com.au ifpi LN96 131134.1, and the printed side on the disc is matte. I got my copy from the Absu gig here in Sydney from The Coffins Slave distro stall.

Probably a stupid question, but is yours actually spelled with only one L, or did you just type that quickly?

Haha, that's a typo on my behalf, sorry. it is actually spelled with a double "L". Does your Blood & Valour cd have the web address printed on it out of curiosity?

Nope. It just says 11460 BLOOD AND VALOUR IFPI LW30.

Interesting. Mine might be a re-press then? Not really sure now.

I would guess yours is a repress. You don't see too many albums from '95 with websites on them. I think my B&V is probably a different repress too, as the disc itself looks slightly different than the one shown on Discogs.

EDIT: Or a licensed version, at least.

I think it's a licensed (re-pressed) version for Modern Invasion, as the website on the disc I checked out specialises in these things.
