I'd never noticed just how much of a medium The Headless Children is between the initial sleazy sound the band had with the more serious nature of what was to come after.

I think the first few songs on that album are a better indication than that track, really. Better songs, too.

Definitely, although even while being the most akin to their old style, the aforementioned song is still a progression from it, to an extent - more intricate and political, as opposed to the old stuff. But yeah, the first few songs are the best indication.

These guys are fucking incredible, you can see that they love what they're playing. No unnecessary aesthetics or any kind of silly stuff, just straight out thrash/death metal filled with riff fests of NWOBHM melodies.
