Deceased - Elly's Dementia

These guys are fucking incredible, you can see that they love what they're playing. No unnecessary aesthetics or any kind of silly stuff, just straight out thrash/death metal filled with riff fests of NWOBHM melodies.

Running Wild - Riding the Storm

Listening to this while riding in a boat during a thunderstorm in Just Cause 2 is epic.

Accept - Donation

God, I love Udo-era Accept. It's like AC/DC, only not boring and sans suck.

Iron Fire - Taken

This is the first Iron Fire album in a while not to sound exactly the same as it's predecessor - I'm quite pleased with the band's direction on this one.

Timeless Miracle - The Red Rose

Possible candidate for my Top 10 Favorite Songs of All Time. Too bad I didn't have Last.fm active that one day I had it on repeat for about 3 hours.

W.A.S.P - The Titanic Overture

I've been listening to a near-absurd amount of W.A.S.P recently - At the moment I'm listening to an album per-day, In chronological order, and doing the same with Bolt Thrower. I'm not sure what I'll move onto after that.

Seventh Avenue - Open Your Mind

I just remembered why this band sounds so familiar: they're a Gamma Ray worship band.

Xandria - Soulcrusher

Sigh - Ecstatic Transformation

Listening to Sigh's new album put me in the mood for their old albums again. Maybe not the best thing to be said about the new one, but I do dig some Imaginary Sonicscape.

Judging from the band's (lack of) productivity since that album, they could have been transformed into three-headed squids in the meantime and we would be none the wiser.

Dragonforce - Seasons

Less instrumental showboating and baby-steps into making more than two song templates? This is the direction I've been hoping this band would go in for a long time.

Actually, they say right there in the song: "...but now we are ghosts,"

Judas Priest - Desert Plains

Classic.
