Wouldn't want to be perpetuating stereotypical standards of beauty here, but, yeah, she looks terrifying. Actually, everyone in the band looks quite scary, barring you, Subrick.

This is what she looked like with hair.

Also, I was supposed to have on a gas mask as well, but the fucker broke literally 30 seconds before we were supposed to go onstage.

To (probably nobody's) surprise, the new Municipal Waste record, The Fatal Feast is depressingly underwhelming. It's just kind of boring. They aren't even evolving; their sound is changing such a minute amount on every record after The Art Of Partying, that it doesn't really matter because at the end of the day, they're still two-minute, forgettable thrash tracks.

If you go back and listen to Hazardous Mutation and The Art Of Partying, you can hear and feel the super kinetic riffing, the energetic, fun and catchy vocal work and how it all comes together at a breakneck pace. Here, now, The Fatal Feast just lacks what made their early records good. The riffs aren't nearly as engaging or interesting, the vocal lines sound like they're being pulled out of a bag of tricks that has nothing left, and everything just falls flat. They don't sound tired or worn out, they just sound uninspired and only going through the motions.

It's weird because even though I felt Massive Aggressive was a bit uninspired, I've grown to absolutely love that album. It has a good bit of the unique riffing, even if the vocal work isn't as fun and catchy, it still has a lot going for it. Hazardous Mutation is fucking awesome, and The Art Of Partying is my ultimate favorite. Maybe The Fatal Feast will grown on me. I like their material, even if a lot of it ends up being throwaway.

*Edited for a little more context.

Well, I'm going on vacation tomorrow, and I'm flying, so I think that two airlines and counting are now charging for carry-on bags is pertinent news for those flying Spirit and Allegiant.

I hate assholes on eBay that don't say they're selling Russian pressed CDs. I asked the band's guitarist if it were even legit and he says it's a bootleg. Just went and ordered the CD directly from the label. Luckily it wasn't too expensive. I can't stand bootleg CDs, I'd rather not have a copy at all.

Cool! Always liked Miami, good night life, great dance clubs, yo. I DJ'd around there when I was living down there for a few months.

So last night I had a dream where two women I know were in a room, with their shirts pulled up so their tits were out, one on a stand up bass and the other on a bassoon, playing Mr. Krinkle by Primus for hours on end. What this says about my subconscious, I wish to never discover.

Pork Soda is by far my favorite Primus release, can't beat stuff like "DMV" and "Nature Boy". Have you guys heard the new album? It's definitely a hit-and-miss, but I've found myself listening to "Jilly's on Smack" many times over the past 8 months. That track is a new Primus classic in my eyes.

I ended up buying a Gargoyle CD today. Went with Junreiin. The other choices were just too much. I can't bring myself to spend 40 bucks on one CD.

I visited my brother in South Carolina last weekend. We crashed in a motel, and I think I got bit by a spider while staying there...slightly below my waist line, halfway in between my hip and my butt cheek (a little off color, I know). It's got a dark spot in the middle, surrounded by red, swollen and very painful. All in all, it's just over the size of a US quarter. :( Guess I'll go to a doctor this morning before necrosis sets in.

Any cKy fans in here?

They were my gateway into hard rock and eventually metal. When Infiltrate, Destroy, Rebuild came out it was all I listened to. Their 2005 album had some very heavy tracks and I love Deron Miller's riffs. To this day they remain my favorite band. I can't be alone here.

Expedience, it would be nice to mention that sort of contents in pics. And such disgusting things as joyous nipples barely visible through a T-shirt, we have minor US boys here, and we don't want them to turn into Ted Bundys.

Heh, I just realized that on Skyfire's Mind Revolution, one of the popular leaks of the album mushed the Track "Caged" and its run time of 4:01 together in the song title, resulting in "Caged 401".

Now everyone thinks that is the title of the song, even one of the MA reviews refers to it as this.

Municipal Waste's continued existence perplexes me to no end. Every album since 'Hazardous Mutation' has been like a shitty photocopy, as though the band is completely fucking inept at following the same formula. You play a passable rip off of 'Crossover'-era D.R.I., this isn't rocket science you chucklefucks.

That was slightly angrier than I intended, I guess it's just frustrating to watch morons reach for the electrified cupcake over and over.

I hate it when my boss starts to question why you read/watch/listen to books/movies/music. "What message does it leave inside of you??? Does it make you a better person??? What's the moral of that story???".

It's not a fucking fable, goddammit!!!!
