Bädr Vogu - Slumlord Blues

Plenty of variety in terms of influences, some of which I can't even name. It's blues-influenced crusty stoner sludge, with other things, and I enjoy it thoroughly. It's got a riff you can really nod your head from side to side to.

Jag Panzer - Overlord

Always loved The Fourth Judgment and The Age of Mastery. This is pretty good, but is a bit water downed compared to the old stuff.

Accept - All or Nothing

Man, if their new album is even better than this shit, I may die due to repeated blunt force trauma from all the headbanging.

Judas Priest - Dissident Aggressor

Can't believe this was in the 70s. So heavy.

Ghost - Ritual

These guys have kinda grown on me, though I was a naysayer at first. Oddly enough, I find these guys creepier than most black metal bands.

Bathory - Shores in Flames

I've never listened to Hammerheart or indeed Twilight of the Gods very often. Today, I intend to change that.

Not the Japanese version, but still on vinyl:

With Janick Gers

Midnight Chaser is an early version of 2 Minutes to Midnight by Iron Maiden?

Bathory - To Enter Your Mountain

I really like the tone used in Twilight of the Gods - Nordland I & II will always have my favourite sound, but I definitely enjoy this too.

The Who - Water

They need water! And maybe somebody's daughter!

Just old kicking ass rock. Out of the 70's rock groups I've heard so far (just being the most obvious so far) Roger Daltrey seems to be one my favourite singers out there. Guy has some real power in his voice.

Is that cover art by Chris Riddel?

Running Wild - Ballad of William Kidd

This is the kind of song I'd need to listen to a couple of times to fully get - sounded good, but I already can't remember the beginning, and it's not finished yet.

That's probably one of Running Wild's most memorable songs! Clean guitar doodling at the beginning - you can't forget!

Aaah yees - I went back and played the intro again - I do remember it vaguely.

Running Wild - Tsar.

I'm working my way through the 20 Years of History compilation slowly - I've familiarised myself with, and greatly enjoyed, disc 1. This is my first time listening to disc 2 all the way through.

Running Wild - Port Royal

One of the first songs I heard by the band (the first I heard was "Under Jolly Roger"). I listen to this song, and then I look at the cover of Shadowmaker, and I want to take a dump.
