So today, when I was walking home from school I was listening Lantlos' self titled album, when this song came on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DyttwRJHRw

After the intro, at about 45 seconds, doubble bass kicks in being acompanied by clean guitar tones. So my question is, if there are any more Bands/Songs, that use this similar sound in of doubble bass over clean or even acoustic guitars...

Akercocke does this pretty often. They've done blast beats with acoustic guitars before too.

Last part of this song particularly has a lot of clean/double bass going on.

The end of this song by Quo Vadis has a section at the end with a pretty gnarly double bass section and really sparse clean guitars

Both great recs, thank you, and the fast speed of the drums on the song by Quo Vadis just adds to the awesomeness :D

Opeth - Forest of October has a section of clean guitars with double bass. Vintersorg - Världsalltets fanfar also has a similar section.

Opeth is one of my favorite bands and I completely forgot about that song :) I think I gave Vintersorg some listens a while back, but never got more into them, but that song was quite nice, it would be better tho, if the clean/doubble bass section would be vocalless :D

2:15 and then several times throughout the song.
It's also an above average Pagan Metal album.

I know an Infestus track that does that.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knX7WobHf5c

Starts at 6:16, and doesn't stop until the end.

Acid Bath - Scream of the Butterfly.
Great song, definitely one of the best songs Dax Riggs has ever written. The double bass kicks in near the end.

Maybe Lykathea Aflame (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF6AazbybME)
They have a somewhat different style, but they also mix clean guitars with extreme drumming.

Pretty sure Deathspell Omega has a few clean parts under heavy drumming!
