I really shouldnt be this excited, considering they seem to consistently release something every year. Usually an album every other year and a couple songs in the year between said albums.

BUT GOD DAMMIT, IM EXCITED!

Of all the bands you don't shut up about, Gargoyle is easily my favorite. Kisho was my number 2 album last year, so yeah count me in as excited as well.

Well because I love getting into things after they're uncool, it took me 19 goes to get Dead Raven Choir. They're terrible with a good name.

Would you believe I've never noticed this v's pronounced as w's thing?

He's recording Epicloud at the moment, no? Also, I believe he said that he's going to make Z2 into a film. That should be pretty cool/funny.

You should review it. I love your style, and it's always neat for me to read other people's thoughts on Gargoyle.

Even after four years of this, I never get used to hearing people say that, thanks a ton! I have a rough draft saved on my blog but I spend a majority of the time blabbering about them being Japanese or something to that extent. I haven't attempted to clean it up yet and it's been a while so I don't exactly remember what I said, but I remember getting about three quarters of the way through before looking over it and thinking it sounded really ignorant.

If there's anything you need clarified I can probably help. Obviously I know quite a bit about them (and their scene, to some extent). :P

Yeah, and there's also an album that he's working on called "Casualties of Cool", which he described as something like haunted Johnny Cash songs.

This was in doubt?

Bit late for the random band game, but twelve clicks in and I got Witchery aka Irreverent/Black Witchery.

That Arch Nemesis band that TheNiceNightmare rec'd a few pages back are great! Not a very big power metal fan by any means (Lost Horizon, SA, Theocracy, that's about all I ever listen to) but fark these guys are rad. Heavier and darker than the usual! Highly recommended.

Never tried that random band thing until today; a new friend recommended it, so I thought I'd try. Six clicks got me to Samsas Traum, which used to be a favourite of mine when I was a younger lass, but after that all I learned was that there is an infinite supply of shite bandnames. Whetstone? Really?

 I've certainly seen worse. I used to play with that random button when it was first installed, but I can't remember too much good coming of it...

Nah, they're pretty lame. The singer's intonation is cringesome and the music is too cheesy and, I don't know, unentertaining. I had hard time making it halfway to "Before The Shadows Came". On one hand I liked the singer, but he seems largely tone-deaf.

I suppose that would have been the most fitting reaction. Actually, thinking about it again, I'm pretty sure it was The Meads of Asphodel, not TROB.

It's pretty intense that you have dreams about the archives. Perhaps you should consider Bezerko's suggestion.
