Hey, There's what I am looking for:

Classy death/black metal like:
Sepulchral Aura, Blasphemous Noise Torment, Prosanctus Inferi, Kerasphorus, Pseudogod.

Sophisticated black metal like:
Angst Skvadron, Void, Vacantfield, Code, Drottnar, Decrepit Spectre, Aosoth, Organ:, Farsot,
Kerbenok, Kludde, Quest for Blood, Whirling, Ab Imo Pectore, Omega Centauri, Black hole generator.

Death metal bands like Portal, death metal bands playing oldschool+adding something more what
makes them recognizable, like:
Impetuos Ritual, Grave Miasma, Shroud of the Heretic, Diskord, Sonne Adam (EP only).

Experimental/progressive/technical death metal bands like:
Flourishing, Avicularia, Apocryphon, Rest in Pain (Russia), Desultor, Gigan (but last album absolutely no!), Neath (last album).

To reduce it little bit, I am looking only for bands with the year of creation 2000 onwards,
no one-man bands and lo-fi stuff please :) Also, please avoid mentioning too obvious names, I know
way more than what I wrote here, but I believe there's still a lot for me to discover :)

Maybe try Clinging to the Trees of a Forest Fire, hyper dissonant death/grind outfit out of Denver. Look for "Omega Drunk on the Blood of Alpha," I seem to remember their other full length had some wonky production. There's also a band local to me that draws heavily from Ctttoaff called Plague Widow that just recently released an EP thats pretty stellar as well. And finally, we'll actually be doing a split with (among others,) these dudes later this year. Not sure if blatant Demilich worship is what you're looking for but these dudes deserve some more exposure

And I guess on the off chance you missed Dephosphorus' album last year, that might scratch your "sophisticated black metal" itch

^ Woah, those are great, thank you!

Yes, Mitochondrion, no doubt. Also, Antediluvian - Through The Cervix Of Hawwah

Gorguts and Ulcerate may or may not fit the bill, but I'm also quite sure that you've heard of them.

First of all, eagerly looking for that upcoming split, debut Ep of your band is really neat.
Clinging to the Trees of a Forest Fire I didnt know, sounds quite ok, will check it out. Plague Widow I already encountered somewhere earlier, it's promising but I dont like it that much, drums are really weird, almost funny-sounding and the vocals are somehow pale. Start of the song you posted from them sounds totally like some Portal stuff.
And for that Demilich worshippers, perhaps I prefer Nauseant.

From this, Borgia is the thing I am not familiar with so far. Guitar-wise it sounds pretty interesting, too bad they are no more active. I must give Ecclesia a spin. Otherwise I like especially that Haemoth current album, it belongs to my 2011 tops.

Yes, I love Gorguts and cant wait for that 2012 album. From some reason I never liked Ulcerate.
Antediluvian, together with Encoffination is stuff I totally cant get into, what is strange because there are some quite similar bands I like a lot. Everytime I try to listen it, I end up realizing that it is horrible.

For something similar to Whirling (who are pretty much Virus worship), check out Yurei, who are also Virus worship, though a tad more blatant.

What are the common qualities between the bands you listed that makes you describe them as classy and sophisticated?

Already heard Yurei. I am quite a Virus/VBE clones hunter :) In some extent I like also Apocryphal Voice and Smile Carved sour, but nothing match the Organ:, that's the thing!

Already know Oranssi Pazuzu. Somewhere it has been recommended to me as black metal with some psychedelic elements, I tried both albums but perhaps it is not for me. But the related band Kuolleet Intiaanit is quite a fun to listen, however it is not metal.

I like them, that's the only quality. Sophisticated - to distinguish it from stuff like Ov Hell.
For someone else it could be unsophisticated and not classy at all, no problem.

What I'm asking is what do you consider to be the specific aesthetic, musical and extracirricular features which you have rationally determined connotate a quality of classiness and sophistication within a band? It *is* a bit more straight forward for us to figure out what would generally be considered unsophistocated within the realm of black metal, since it is rarely seen as a negative and worn as a badge of honor by many fans and bands who self-describe as such and play intentionally sloppy, etc. However, a positive quality of classiness and sophistication is much more in the air in regards to what any two black metal fans would agree those qualities entail. Many bands where such a banner which and their doing so is vehemently rejected by many fans and other bands. Basically I'm asking you to THINK about what it is you ACTUALLY LIKE about black metal and then articulate that. That is how we have a meaningful discussion about this stuff we supposedly all have a meaningful interest in talking about...

You liking something isn't a quality we can easilly measure or look at a group of bands you haven't specifically mentioned and say "Oh, I'll recommend this one because it has "slavonic777 will like it" written on the back cover".

For sophisticated black metal, you might like Dodecahedron, who sound kinda like Deathspell Omega. Smohalla might also tickle your fancy.

Dear John Moonlight, others perfectly grasped what I am looking for from the sample of bands I provided and they gave me perfectly right recommendations (no matter I am already
familiar with most of it) Unfortunately I have no musical education so dont expect me to describing in
scholarly terms what I like in death/black metal...

Are you familiar with Rites of thy Degringolade? It may be of interest to you but it's hardly the most obscure band given the ties to other local OSDM acts (Weapon, Begrime Exemious, Antediluvian.) Their Totality album's a great bit of blackened death metal with hints of Immolation, Morbid Angel, and Gorguts influence with some excellent riffing throughout. They were however formed in 1997 but this album was release in 2001

Edit: Also try Black Arrows of Filth and Impurity's1984 Eternal EP for a Plague Widow-esque act without the pitfalls of the former

On the black metal side...

What about Ascension? One of the more unique sounding black metal bands I've heard recently.

Yskelgroth might be up your alley though it's a bit more primative
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awLBkEj-QzA

Aosoth... this particular album reminds me of Portal a good bit actually.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ol8XwaBjs9M

Ishimura maybe... it's a 2 man band though one is all the instruments

Slavonic, double/triple/quadruple posting is generally discouraged. Good thread though, helped me discover some obscure stuff.

I already know Ævangelist, Ascension, Aosoth (I love III!). Akercocke and Rites of thy Degringolade doesn't meet the criteria (and I already know those too). Dødsengel sounds good enough to check it out in detail. Thanks to another thread I found also Tyrant Goatgaldrakona, nice, striking war death/black metal.
Thanks all for recs.

You should definitely check out Innsmouth (aus) and I don't believe I saw Antediluvian on your list. Also if you don't mind the tempos slowing down a bunch, try out Encoffination and Anhedonist. These are all personal favorites, but they seem to fit in nicely within your perimeters.

Fun fact: I'm in Shroud of the Heretic :)

Hats off before your band, it's incredible EP! For me it's by far the best death metal release of 2011.
After I found about SotH I was playing it 3 weeks in a row on my way to/from work, plus at home. Total ecstasy!
I tried Encoffination and Antediluvian in the past, never liked it though. Innsmouth are ok...
