Now I can understand if you like the music, but why would you want a shirt of the worst cover artwork in the history of metal?

What?! I always thought that this cover was excellent and greatly corresponds with the VBE music.
I am really surprised to hear this.

Actually, I am never buying a t-shirt automatically because I love the band, the cover art/logo/t-shirt design must also be perfect, and it rarely happends...

I have to agree, no matter how good this record is. That cover is one of the ugliest covers ever. The reissue has pretty cool cover....

Wow. Why so much hate for that album cover? I personally think it's beautiful and agree that it perfectly fits the atmosphere of the LP. I used to have a 'Those Who Caress The Pale' t-shirt, but I wore it so much that it eventually disintegrated. Really wish that I still had it...

I love how most metal shirts these days are Fruit of the Loom. There's nothing more metal than the juxtaposition of some grim-ass, evil band logo with a colorful, happy bunch of fruit on the tag. Apples! \m/

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to change anybody's mind about the artwork, but it seems incredible to me. You guys must live in a different, better world.

And you're right, it is incredible, much like everything else Carl-Michael Eiede has been involved in...

Err, what I meant to say is that it is hard to believe that someone can like the artwork. I don't really have any opinion on the music.

Haha. Well, I suppose I misinterpreted what you meant by "incredible". Anyway, the Ved Buens Ende artwork does suit the music very well, both in regards to "Written In Waters" and "Those Who Caress The Pale". If you've not heard these albums, I can understand that the artwork may seem strange to you. For that matter, I suppose the music is not for everyone, and some people I know that love those albums now hated them when they were released. Although I took an immediate liking to Ved Buens Ende when "Written In Waters" was released, it was just so different at the time that the majority of my friends couldn't understand why I would go on and on about it. But really, to this day the music is mind-boggling to me, and I mean that in the best way possible. Those drum patterns are just insane, and the bass lines are following right along with the insanity. Such a shame that Carl-Michael will most likely never be able to play drums again.

"Dawn of Possession" What the hell does that even mean? Great shirt, great band, but I'm so sick of those generic death metal band titles like "Defeat of Sanity" etc. Even the great ones fall prey to it..

Yeah man. Wore the shirt today for the first time.

I ordered this shirt way back in late december and sent it to my home address as I would be home 2 weeks after the day I ordered it. It ended up taking nearly a month for it to come in though and it arrived when I was out of town and wasn't able to get it until last week.

Hung out at the mall and found a good shop. A lot of great stuff I never expected to see in a store, and I picked up these two(would post pics, but my camera is screwing up).

^ That's one of the best Amon Amarth shirts I've seen in a while.

It's about bedtime and I'm currently wearing this little beauty. I need to get another Manilla Road shirt. I wonder if I can get my hands on a Deluge one somehow.

Whoa, that's an excellent shirt. I'm seeing them in three weeks, hopefully they'll be selling that at the merch stand; makes getting there early worth it for once. Am currently wearing my Immolation 'Majesty and Decay' shirt. Oddly, out of all my shirts, this one always gets me nods and smiles of approval from metalheads I see.
