Here are a few songs from their "death metal" album:

There's no metal riffs, just catchy grind chugging mixed with pitchshifted vocals.

Fan as in I really liked Vinnie Paul and Pantera. Though in the intrest of being thurough, I'd suggest a search on YouTube. They've got videos everywhere.

No. At least, not for me. But, apparently a few years ago Witcher determined that there was merit to their inclusion. Not sure what happened but apparently we took his word for it and didn't protest the inclusion.

That actually sounds like the precise opposite of something Witcher would do. Image

In any case, I love goregrind and I love CaBT, but I'll agree with MalignantThrone: they don't belong on MA. Even a drunk guy I was talking with the other week told me they shouldn't be on the 'Archives.

Just an example of how even some random guy in a pub can see when something's amiss on the site. ;) Cock and Ball Torture are sticking out like... well, a dog's cock and balls.

Yeah, blame everything on GraveWish :-D

The fact is that this band is borderline but I'd say that they should stay since they tend to be metal enough for te site. In the other hand the Pantera die-hard fanboys-like subjective reviews are the ones that should be deleted. Try to be objective for once and listen to the music without judging the band based on a misleading common idea. I'd go with Alhadis' opinion about this band.

WELL, it's kind of easy to, seeing as how you've kept bitching about me approving/rejecting your submissions. Image One sludge/southern metal/rock/stoner/doom band after another and I feel myself starting to lose my grip on reality.

In either case, reviews can say a lot about whether or not a band's presence should be on a metal site... I mean, checkout what happened to Five Finger Death Punch. Image

Come on now seriously I never kept bitching about a rejection you did. In all cases that doesn't means that you was right in your rejections I still consider those bands to be metal :-D

Nothing remotely death metal in their discography, end-of-story.

It was self-released and has no controlled copies, it is available to free download. We promote this demo cd exclusively in internet.

[NOT complaining the band]
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Azaxul/10103
When I try to add the "Horned Furies" demo, I get a reminder, says that this is a bootleg. But according to the additional notes, "In 2010 the master CD with those old recordings was re-found and Azaxul released the Horned furies Demo-CDR on his own label Misanthrophia Discos." Seems this is a legit release.

I cannot find any info on band's myspace or Bulgarian webpages. There is not a single cover art for the 5 releases. Highly suspicious.

Seems the Discogs page has already changed. Besides, I am a little doubtful about what is written online; contacting the artist would be a good idea.

Soulseeker is the man behind the project; he is still active and it might be worth it to contact him. sofeshue, I would have expected that you would have already tried to contact the artist before noting your suspicions, especially when the artist is involved with MA.

What was the proof for the acceptance of this band? http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Nat ... 3540342234 this is another Middle-Eastern band with no physical release.

EDIT: if your not going to take into consideration my thread about Middle-Eastern bands it fine but at least you should delete those two bands:
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Odyssey/84152 this release does not exist
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/X/75453 this release does not exist. In fact, those was the two only original songs recorded by the band and later spread between local fans on self-made bootleg cd-rs/tape-rs made by fans.

GraveWish, we kind of need concrete, incontrovertible evidence that they were bootlegged. A few random reports from people in the middle-east are one thing, but tracing them to a reliable source is another. Yes, some releases from the middle east might look dubious, but unless there's a statement from a band member to say they WEREN'T official, band-approved releases, we can't go deleting bands willy-nilly based on shady details.

Well this is true, this is why I understand ignoring the other thread. I will try to get in contact with some members once I got the time for that. But the fact is that those two bands are clearly to be deleted. They both got added based on information found on JorZine, I don't know if you are familiar with the policy of that site but this is not at all a trusty source of information (even JorZine didn't have the track list of the supposed releases). Beside the demo added on X's MA page is in fact added by Haayara_Boeret based on a bootleg compilation. He once tried to add another Jordanian band based on the same compilation therefore he assumed that X's tracks included on that bootleg compilation are supposed to be X's tracks included on the demo. In fact those are the only two original tracks made by the band and commonly reffered to as a demo. Another fact is that you may ask anyone remotely knowledgeable with the Middle-Eastern metal scene and you will get the clear answer that it's quite impossible that any Arabic band from this area released a physical demo in 1992.

What's convinced you it's Christkiller, Gravewish?

In either case, it doesn't seem like the band's CD is out yet. I've deleted the band until 01/03/2012, which is when the band's CD is scheduled for release. Then, we'll restore the band. :)

The CD is out on Dethroned Productions: http://www.thronerecords.net/MAIN.htm the band will be selling it locally (on spot) in their upcoming concerts in March and are not selling it online yet, which is normal. You can restore the band now.

The band initally released the EP for free download on bandcamp as you can see here: http://bloodredwater.bandcamp.com/

Not sure if this http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Mabuse/3540342475 is already released physically, in all cases the supposed physical release is due to 25/02/2012.

The review posted on the band's official Facebook from a French blog is for the digital release although they are using a picture for a tape-like cover, this picture was posted by the band on their official Facebook on January 30, the date of the digital release.

Official band statement: Pre-order the demo from jbe1988 at gmail dot com (leave full name/adress/etc). Oslo residents can pick it up personally from Jonas from around February 25th.

No more information if the tape was actually released physically yet or not.

Yeah, seems counter-productive to delete it and restore it the next day. Leave it be, it's no big deal.

Alhadis will certainly remember this band: http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Valve/3540342626 well if you intend to keep the band you need to modify the genre to sludge metal/post-hardcore

Because when you first submitted the band, I was uncertain as to its 'metalness', and left a note asking for the opinions of other moderators. Personally, I would've accepted it, but I was unsure what the others would think.

Since nobody had gotten back to me for a while about it when you were nagging us to approve or reject your submissions, I felt the safer thing to do was to reject it on the side of caution. Now that another mod's listened to it and approved of it, it's pretty much covered the "Anybody else think this is metal enough?" dilemma I was facing at the time.

In fact, this is quite...Funny. You would've personally accepted the band but you rejected it on the side of caution. Probably because it was submitted by myself. It's obvious now why I keep whining about the rejections.

I want to whine a bit :-D could a moderator please check the bands that I already submitted to the queue? I have a list of bands that I want to submit. In fact it's kind off irritating since adding a band to the drafts will take at least few minutes and later, after a couple of days of waiting, someone else will submit the band and I have to delete it from my drafts. Done that to at least three bands in the past week and to at least 50 bands since the launch of v2 :panda:

You had a long list of bands to submit, and I was doing you favour by keeping as many as slots open for your submissions as possible. You really want to whinge about that too?
