Scream of the Butterfly by Acid Bath. I actually think their songs in this style were the best ones.

Psycroptic - Carriers of the Plague

I really like the riffing here, not much the vocals, they became too predictable :(

Excoriate - On Pestilent Winds

Been listening to this while I type up some assignments, most metal studying I've done in a while.

np Testatment-The New Order

Hardly ever listen to thrash, really have to be in the right mood to do so. Suppose this is good stuff though.

Opeth - Hessian Peel

I like it, but I still don't see what the hype is about in terms of Opeth in general.

felt the same way when i first was checking them out. If you haven't listened to Blackwater Park or My arms, Your Hearse and Deliverance check them out. May be a better place to start. Took me a while to get into them, but it was worth it.

I have a friend who's deeply, deeply into them - He really opened my eyes to how interesting they sound.

Vader - Wolftribe

Never have I had to listen to an album so many times in a row for it to be rewarding... but it IS now.

I can agree with that. Amazing album.

np: new Drudkh. Quite good, kind of a return to their black roots.

Guys, I'll take the time to say that it would be really cool to let a short sentence when you're posting something here. So it wouldn't be post whoring, just an appreciation or something, not too much asked and it would create more discussions

edit, since my messages are not loud enough.
