Officially started my jacket. Not much yet, but it'll have more soon. I'm too lazy to sew on my own patches.

Going to get patches from Drudkh, Sodom, Agalloch, and Wolves In The Throne Room. Plus any others I can find.

I'm planning on starting to put patches on a flannel shirt in the next few weeks, I'll definitely post some pics once I make significant progress.

Here's my update !
I added Forteresse and chasse-galerie shoulder patch
Forteresse is written '' Métal noir québécois''
Chasse-galerie is the picture of a quebecer patriot surrounded by :
Amor patriae nostra lex.
Translation: "Love of the fatherland is our law." Motto of the Polish Winged Hussars.

I'm looking for either a Transilvanian Hunger or De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas back patch - Anyone know where I could find one? I've seen both in a smaller size but really looking for a back patch/centre piece.

I've had a decent look on Ebay and at a few distros.

Cheers.

Both of these back patches are from punkstuff. They come really big so you have to trim them down to size.

They're nice. Cloth is a bit flimsy but they're top notch otherwise.

i don't know how that dude did his but you'll have more luck with leather needles or a sewing awl [a thick needle with a handle on it, which means it's "hafted" like a knife]
i'd be keen to experiment with using glue like ados f3 contact glue, the sort of stuff you use for glueing the soles back on your shoes or [car] upholstery.
then to take the patches off if you had to you could maybe just use lemon oil or de solv it or some kind of solvent that would hopefully not destroy the leather or fabric.

this patch is mean as! :metal: :guns:

It was a hard pick for what to use there. Picked between Disembowelment, Mandatory, Denouncement Pyre and Nocturnal Graves. I have a ton of patches lying around but hate jackets with more than just a few on them :/

i can't make one because it's always too friggin' hot to wear one, 9 months of the year i'm in shorts and a t-shirt ha ha
inside a club/bar/pub/venue is even worse.

maybe multiple garments with only a select few patches on each?
hit the secondhand shops for some cheap gears
you know what would look shit hot, the small d on the front breast pocket and a big d on the back, that's it, it's a disembowelment jacket.

I picked it up from Eisenwald -> http://www.eisenton.de

That was a couple years ago though. From memory they don't have any left, but I think they still have a Forteresse "Patriotes" patch, which IMO is a lot better.

This is the first patch ive made in over two years i think, it still needs the edges neatened up a bit and stuff, also it is a very bright green, but my camera dulled it out a bit. I plan to make more, im currently cutting the stencils for venom, watain, hellhammer, marduk, nortt, grave and vader patches

I'm so fucking stupid. I got my Baptism patch today in mail, and I was holding it in my hand for maybe three minutes trying to figure out how the fuck it can read "Baptism" (here's a picture, though mine comes without the eliterian bla bla bla). I was holding it the wrong way. :durr: It didn't ring any bells that maybe in a black metal band's logo the cross is not the right way around.

At Forteresse show, they have ''circle'' patch and the small one ''Métal noir québécois'' that i have on my coat.

Living in Québec is WAY easier to grab some.

Here is the back patch I had custom made for my new vest.

On another note anyone know where I could find Kylesa or Ghost patches besides ebay and their official website?

Cool stuff.
I used to have a denim vest with tons of metal patches on it and a giant Slayer back patch.
Eventually got too big for it! Sad day.

I unfortunately lost my first vest, so I started on this one a few months ago, it's not done yet though.

i found a pretty nice black denim vest in goodwill for 3 bucks the other day... needless to say i bought it, and am really looking forward to patching it up, but i think im only gonna get patches from bands ive seen live... so far i only have one patch... since i never owned a vest before, and never really cared enough to have one, i never bought patches... but last year at maryland i wanted an acid witch shirt and they were out so i was just like "ill put a patch on my army jacket" haha... well my ex gf has my jacket and im prob not gettn it back.... lucky i never got around to patching it up.

Still a work in progress (as you can see the Entombed, Incantation, Obituary, and CC patches still need to be sewed on), but I'm proud of it so far.
Pins are Absu, Withered, Decibel Magazine, Strangeland Records (defunct local record store, RIP), Acephalix, and Trap Them.

OK, here's my very first vest. It's a simple mix of heavy metal and thrash metal bands (although I really should to get more thrash metal patches so they're evened-out with the rest of the non-thrash metal band patches). The Def Leppard backpatch was cut out of an old shirt I had and sewed on.

So far, I'm really liking it. I just placed an order on more 1" pins to add to the front.

Any helpful suggestions on making this kutte look even better would be more than welcome!

Found a Woolrich outdoors jacket at a thrift shop for $7 (they usually go for about $200+).

Haven't sewn anything on it yet, but I plan on on sewing/adding stuff on soon.

It's a Levi's "trucker style" jean jacket. I first found it at Sear's and fell in love with how it fit. I wear a size medium shirt, but this is size small which was what I was looking for, a snug fit. I ended up buying the same jacket off of ebay for $60.00 with free shipping.

Does anyone have any experience of using spray-paint on denim? I'm entertaining the notion of using stencils to put the Bathory logo, Mjolnir, and the caption "Mother Earth, Father Thunder" onto the back of my jacket.
