Amazing atmospheric thrash metal. Mike Howe has to be one of my favourite vocalists in metal.

Fuck yeah. That main riff is out of this world. Incredible album overall.

Blaze Bayley - Edge Of Darkness (Live)

Just got The Night That Will Not Die today. This cut does for Edge Of Darkness what Rock In Rio does for Sign Of The Cross, rescuing it from The X-Factor's tepid performances and shy production.

Excellent stuff. Visceral and otherworldly. I finally found "I" for a fairly decent price...now all I have to do is convince myself to buy it :p

Fucking nice. Funny you mention "a fairly decent price", I got mine for a whole twelve euro.

Nice grab. I'll be paying about 20 USD for mine, which I don't mind because I literally can't find it anywhere else except a place where I would be paying about 26 USD.

Aborted- Of Scabs and Boils

Really catchy, fun stuff.

Iced Earth - Days of Rage

..One of the shittiest songs I've heard in a long time. Utterly vapid and annoying to listen to. I looked at the reviews here and for some reason this song gets a lot of acclaim. I know IE fans put on the blinders when hearing IE, but this is ridiculous. This song is so bad, I'm having a hard time even getting past it. Especially when seeing it compared to their old school song Violate. Haaah I hate it.

Yeah, that song is by far the worst on Dystopia, though I liked the album overall. So short but still annoying.

Goatwhore - Embodiment of this Bitter Chaos

It is the first track I have heard off of the new album. Pretty cool intro, pretty typical modern Goatwhore riffing and tempo. The production sounds more stripped down than the last couple albums. Pretty decent start.

Shroud of Despondency - Pine

Awesome raw black metal mixed with atmospheric doom and gloom. This is a great record, one of the best I've heard this year so far.

Deathspell Omega - The Shrine of Mad Laughter

The thread about their drummer made me want to listen to them, it's been a while.

Becoming the Archetype - "Artificial Immortality" from "Dichotomy". Still my fav track from that album. Love the riffing and the melodic lead work.

Siege - Walls, not metal actually. It's this UK/US hardcore punk scene at the late 80's. And it's way heavier than most of the metal music these days.

Anathema - All Faith is Lost

Raw early doom/death metal. Pretty sweet. I also found it typical that many bands started similiar to this and ended up doing completely different.
