If I work on July 19th, I'm gonna be pissed. Iron Maiden and Alice Cooper are just too damn amazing to pass up.

I spent a ton of money already this year on Maryland Deathfest 2012, but I'm going for sure. Gotta play nice and beg the wife!

Ugh that'll be me... I fucking love Alice Cooper too so that makes it even worse. Why is California at the end of the tour? Wack.

But anyways, I'm definitely going to this. I saw Maiden the summer before last, and even though it was incredible, the setlist was mostly new stuff. So I would love to catch this: all those SOASS songs! God damn! Throw in some Powerslave songs and that's a night to remember.

I figure that's where i'll meet my future wife, at a Maiden show.

When i was at the Faith No More reunion tour 2 summers ago i went to pee in the woods at the Mann in Philly and all of the sudden i heard some rustling. Then i see this chick come out from behind the bushes who was peeing as well. It was kind a strange but we started talking. Didn't really go anywhere, but could you imagine telling your kids where you first met your wife, "Well, i was at a concert taking a pee in the woods and suddenly your mother who also happened to be peeing came out and startled me. It was love at first sight."

Not really sure why i posted that, but it was pretty damn funny none the less.

Frog: If you have a passport or a enhanced DL, just head to the Sarnia show.

Also, Sarnia. Really? Really? WITH ALICE COOPER? I can't believe I'm going to Sarnia in July to see Alice Cooper and Iron Maiden.

Yes, that is definitely marriage material.

A 6-hour drive to Denver for me, so I'll have to plan for it and get a hotel. Would love to see Maiden again! I have only seen them once, unfortunately, though it was a killer show on the Brave New World Tour with Queensryche and Halford.

My wife will by tickets for Absu and Inquisition. I'll buy the ones of Venom + Obituary + Testament and the other gig for Sodom.

I've seen Maiden 3 times and never dissapointed me at all. Bruce is in great shape and the rest of the band is solid as fuck. I wish Judas Priest could be that flawless live...

Wait a sec... so the legendary Maiden is coming to my hometown the day before my birthday to play the classics they neglected to play when I saw them two years ago, and this includes two songs from my favorite LP from them?

I'd be a terrible person if I didn't go. See you guys on the 18th.

Planning on hitting the August 3rd show, early b-day present for myself. Probably get my younger brother to go also, he's not huge into metal but last time he went with me to Maiden he had an awesome time.

Actually, I might just do that. But, I dunno, driving to Detroit won't be bad, just gotta find a place to crash wherever I end up, hotel or otherwise.

Gonna be my third time seeing them and it just isn't even a question. Honestly, best live show I've ever seen. Gonna be going to the Atlanta date.

Anybody on the fence, do yourself a favor and go. One day your life is going to flash before your eyes - make it worth watching. Believe me when I say that seeing Maiden will do nothing but help that goal.

I saw Cooper in '04 and he put on a damn good show. I've also seen Maiden a few times and they're great, too...

Can't say I'm a fan of Seventh Son, though. I love every album before it, and would probably even rate some later albums (Dance of Death, in spite of its horrible muddy production and maybe Fear of the Dark...) higher than it. I just don't know why, but the album never clicked with me. It's probably got something to do with that fucking chorus in the title track. Also, fuck "Can I Play with Madness?" while we're at it.

Still. Mighty tempting. I'll probably end up going, as long as the wallet and my schedule agree with me. Oh, and the tickets don't sell out.

Of course, they're bypassing Vegas.

For a city that calls itself the "entertainment capitol of the world", we sure do miss a ton of good shows.

Great setlist, I'll be seeing them this Saturday. I was hoping for a track or two off of Somewhere In Time, so I hope they do a similar tour revisiting that album.

The set list looks fantastic. Hope this comes to the UK.

Too bad it's only NA this year.

Was thinking of getting a tour poster for the birthday of a friend who' the biggest Maiden fan.
Would anybody be willing to fix one for me and ship it to Euroland for a beer or two (Paypal/Western Union/whatever else in advance of course)?

That setlist is appropriately awesome. If I had known about this tour back when tickets first went on sale I would have definitely tried to get one.

That has to be one of the best setlists of their career, if not the best. July 29th can't come soon enough. Nothing can prepare me for Phantom of the Opera live.

I went to the Atlanta show as well. It was my first Maiden show and it is the best show/band I have ever seen, hands down. As soon as the video package of ice glaciers started, I was practically a school boy giddy with joy. I sang along to every song and totally lost my shit, so to speak. Afraid to Shoot Strangers was much better than I expected; those melodic leads are sooo orgasmic. The lawn mosh pit for 2 minutes/trooper was awesome. My highlights were definitely SSOASS with the giant Eddie figure, Fear of the Dark, Phantom and Winston Churchill speech/Aces High!!! The only slight downsides was the lack of audience participation ; Not many people knew the words to their lesser known songs and not too many people were going crazy like I was. And they left out Hallowed Be thy Name. That is the quintessential IM song, in my opinion, and it makes perfect sense to play it on this tour because they are playing in many new places with 1st timers. But If you're even remotely interested, go to a show! I know I might be going to the Dallas show to see them again. Up The Irons!
