Manilla Road - Spiral Castle
Manilla Road are a strange band for me, as they have many songs I don't care at all about and many others I fucking love, this one belonging to the second group. Riffs of titanic proportions, an epic atmosphere and strangely mesmerizing vocals provided by Mark Shelton. Also, I didn't know Shelton could growl.

He can't. That's their second vocalist Hellroadie.

I really, really like this album. Criss Oliva is another great guitarist that seemed to flow under my radar. Oh well, time to remedy that.

Rotting Christ - Triarchy of the Lost Lovers

Been meaning to listen to this great band for forever now, and it seem that I like them just as much as I thought I would. You know how sometimes you haven't heard even a note by a band and you somehow know they're perfect for you? That was Rotting Christ for me. Bloody awesome music.

Meshuggah, their Catch Thirty-Three album: In Death is Life/In Death is Death. The drug to deliver chills, I tremble during the "Death" half, the atmosphere is overwhelming. Esoteric at its finest, if you want music that is for intelligent people, this is it. However, requires A LOT from the listener in order to enjoy and fully appreciate the song and album (And Meshuggah in general)

Checked this out on a whim and, yeah, this is some pretty awesome stuff! Nice, older atmosphere to it. Early Greek metal (Septic Flesh, Rotting Christ) is something special. The album is readily available on Amazon so I guess its going on the list.

Dead Congregation- Graves of the Archangels

I really like this, but I'm not sure where to place these guys among their peers in terms of quality. Maybe once they have another album to their name...

The Cure-Disintegration

Been getting into this band recently, really good stuff and I'll be picking up an album soon. Haven't listened to much metal today, surprisingly.
