Hello
I wanna buy good headphones for mixing, my budget is extremely low (100 - 200 $) , but I'd like to hear some suggestions to check out, then I'll decide what to buy.
Thanks.

I have the Sony MDR 7506 and I'm quite happy with them, if you're in the US you can get them for less than a hundred bucks.

I don't think we have Sony here, but I'll ask.

I've been using these for about 7 years or more and I think they perform well as far as the sound quality. Only problem was the thin material that covers the padding started flaking off - which was annoying (and messy). Eventually I just pulled it all off with some very sticky tape.

I would recommend these closely related AT phones. From what I've read, it seems the company has probably addressed the flaking material problem and these look to be a slight step up in general:

If you are interested, here are a couple forum threads I found comparing and discussing both sets of headphones:

Thanks I'll check them out .

Edit: After reading I guess the ATH-50 are better for mixing purpose. I'll try to see whether it's available here or not.
