Listened to the first three tracks so far, man this is so fucking tasty. Definitely on par with Black Future, I will listen to this a lot.

Listened to the first four tracks so far + Dark Creations, Dead Creator and yeah, this could even top Black Future. Just awesome.

I'm listening through the stream right now, and not to get anyone's hopes up more than they clearly already are, but this appears to be the best music created by anyone ever.

Edit: Absolutely loving Venus Project. Must buy this.

I freaking love the new album, every track is great.

Btw, if anyone got the Nucleus demo and/or the Hunger for Violence demo on their computer, please upload it! I would really appreciate it.

Just listened through the stream, and it seems my high hopes for this have been met, it's even tighter and more technical than Black Future, and doesn't have a weak track. Brilliant.

Listening to the album now, and its thoroughly kicking my ass. Best Vektor yet easily. Well done lads!

It definitely sounds more focused than Black Future. I loved it, but some of the songs (and the album itself) was a bit too long for my taste. Somehow Outer Isolation manages to be catchier, more technical while at the same time being more epic.

Amazon bumped my delivery date back to December 6th, so I went ahead and listened to the stream. I usually like my first exposures to new albums with quality headphones through a receiver, but I just couldn't wait!

Another excellent album from these guys and it hurts good this time around. Kudos to Vektor for upping the bar and playing their asses off when I thought I had already heard them playing their asses off.

at first listen i thought it was farking amazing, after a few listens its still awesome but not as good as that first listen. Favourite track would be Cosmic Cortex, or Dying World.

Having heard through the album at least ten times since it started streaming, I already like this album more than Black Future. Echoless Chamber, Tetrastructural Minds and the amazing title track especially blew me away. Echoless Chamber might be the best Vektor song yet!

Listened to it earlier, and while I'll never go apeshit about this style like some do, it's a really good album. The compositions are excellent, the riffs fucking tear it up and the vocals and themes are cool. It was a lot of fun actually. So definitely a 4/5 album for me if not more.

Some really great riffs on this one, the kind that give you a big stupid grin. Good job guys.

I'm in the minority in that I am not enjoying this as much as Black Future. I haven't heard all of it, but it doesn't sound as wild and unrestrained as BF. It's probably better put together and more 'solid' but that has never been a selling point for me over sheer ferocity that BF most certainly had.

I think Black Future is more progressive and a bit better, but Outer Isolation is probably my thrash album of the year, Antichrist is very near though. It's very focused and mature but i miss the proggier sound of BF. Still an amazing band worthy of its praise.

Fucking brilliant album. While it may not be quite as progressive and maybe not quite as vicious as Black Future its got very technical musicianship and seems a whole lot more focused. I also think it flows better as an album than Black Future does. I'm not gonna split hairs over which one is better because to be honest they both fucking rule. Easily the best thrash release this year. Keep it up!

I wish they remade Moonbase on this album. It's the only proper song on Demolition they didn't redo and it would've gave it a running time closer to Black Future.

It looks great, though I believe it'd fit a funeral doom or death/doom record better. It just has this sort of very desolate look to it that makes me think of much slower and simpler music.

Perhaps. It is well done though. The vinyl release should be a nice package.

I think Outer Isolation is better than Black Future.

Same here, though only by a small margin, as the only problem that I believe Black Future has is its length, as it gets tiresome to listen to it whole in one sitting most of the time. Beyond that though? Freaking great record.

I love both albums. I'm looking forward to their next one, I think it'll be interesting to see how they manage without having a lot of older tracks to go back to.

I hate the new artwork for OI. I was 100% sure I was gonna buy the vinyl when it came out, and then they drop this shit. It completely turned me off buying the vinyl.

Hate is a strong word. Plenty of worse artwork around.

I don't find that artwork too attractive either - Especially the white and green logo style, and barely readable writing... the colours just don't compliment one another...

The original artwork would look extremely good on an LP sleeve, too.

I assume Earache will be re-releasing the CD in almost exactly the same style the Heavy Artillery one was?

Edit: Just looked it up, the CD is getting the above artwork too... I think I'll just sit in a chair later and hug my Heavy Artillery copy.

You know, now that I think about it, the new artwork fits the album's title really well, and maybe even better than the previous, more colorful cover (though I still like that one).

I'll concede that, if they made the logo not have an insipid green-outline, and instead perhaps made it black, or gave it a strong black outline, it would like more consistent sat beside the Black Future artwork.

Eh, I like the look of the logo and the writing, though my fanaticism for Overkill has made me a junkie for radioactive green colored stuff, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Likewise with the Overkill thing. It just seems a bit thin on that artwork - I don't know if green and grey work together, it doesn't seem strong... At the same time though, looks better to me now than it did half-an-hour ago.

Black Future has perhaps been my favorite artwork in recent times, at the very least within thrash, but possibly in general.

Oh yeah, Black Future's artwork is nothign short of glorious. It impeccably captures that sort of epic Sci Fi/horror atmosphere that impregnates the band.
