The Golan Heights, Israel (sorry for the poor quality for some, they were taken through a moving bus... they do not do the landscape justice :)):

Managed to get out last week and get these before the shitty weather rolled in.

All 5 were taken on the Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia coastline.

Nice views of the Pasajes port entrance, mount Ulia and San Sebastián city from the sea.
Imagine yourself entering this port at night in the preindustrialized times!

Nice photos Emperor! Love the colors on the last photo. Yellow, red and green, awesome!
You haven't got the snow yet I suppose? :P

We got snow about a week ago, but now it has sadly gone away with all the rain we have had the last days :(

Its kinda comical how some of you guys posting in this thread have such epic backyards. All I see when I look out my window is a bunch of barns and cows.

Hopefully my plans on going to Alaska within the next month will be fulfilled and I will able to post some nice pictures here.

I think it's kind of comical how some of you guys have actual SNOW and we here in Idaho have...nothing. Actually, it's really not that comical at all. It may as well be fucking July, with as little snow there is in the mountains around here. Sun Valley is the only ski area open, and even it just has a couple skiable runs with man-made snow. Tell Forestcorpse and you lucky Canadians to send some of that white stuff down our way!

1. Don't know, what color gills/spore color would help.
2-3. I hardly know the puffballs in my area, no idea.
4. Looks like a Mycena sp., there are lot of these that require microscopy to identify.
5. Laccaria maybe, like the first one, gills/spore color would reveal a lot more.

And really, if you are interested in identification, gill pictures are nearly always a must. Also, you can probably get better answers trying shroomery.org (They identify a lot of non-hallucinogenic mushrooms too) or mushroomobserver.org, I am just starting to learn the basics in my own area. I won't be very helpful as many others could be, especially for someone in Europe.

Nothing to explain really :D It is just a gap in a "bridge" and I thought this picture looked nice so I shared it with you. I hope you understand what you see in that picture when I show you this photo of mine. I took this photo of that same "bridge" at night in November.

Thanks Byrain. Next time I'll try and get pics from underneath, though I don't like to disturb them. The large fungi was part of a very large circle, though most had been bashed and partly eaten by deer(?).

Edit: This thread needs more Aurora Pictures!

Oh no I mean the picture you asked me to explain. Those lights in that new picture of mine are just reflections of lights.

That's an incredible photo, you can see it's eyes, and that blue background. What camera took those? Surely not a Canon Powershot G6.

Thanks, and yep, I used my Canon Powershot. It was indoors at night, so I turned on the lights, a low level of flash, and made the shutter speed rather fast. Then gimp to slightly adjust the colors to make it appear less washed out. Turned out better then I expected.
As for the blue background, its just an old jug, would of looked ugly if it came into focus.
