Hooker Spit Windex is an awesome grind band I think everyone should check out. Their split with Pizza Hi Five is awesome as well as their split with Black Bridge.

Powercup is a great band. Saw them with Pizza Hi Five not too long ago and they blew Pizza Hi Five out of the water.

Also, check out Scaphe from Minnesota. Not really grindcore, but some of the best MITB worship I've heard. Seeing them on the 25th, going to be great.

Didn't know there was a new Trash Talk EP. Gonna have to check that out as Eyes And Nines was killer and the track you linked to sounds like quality has been maintained.

HSW and Powercup are both killer. Bummer that HSW is done though. The new PHF / Infernal Stronghold split is bangin'

It's one thing to dislike an album, but I'm not exactly sure he was listening to the same album I was. Misused blastbeats? Same song repeated nineteen times? NOT HEAVY? C'mon dude. Then again, this is probably an obvious attempt at trolling that slipped under the radar...

on a sidenote of almost similar circumstances... i was listening to some live grindsets last night.... had no idea that Cyness and Lycanthropy had female vocalists. Cyness I have cds for and it never occured by the names.

Yes! It's naaaaaasty, the PLF side obviously takes the cake (duh, can anyone hold a candle to these dudes right now?) but Cyness' side is ripper as well. Definitely recommend checking it out.

It was the first I'd heard of Cyness, so I can't really compare it to their older works but it was pretty damn good. And PLF is, well, PLF. They don't really do anything new, but their side just fucking rips. Seriously, check this one out for sure.

I'm a bit late to the party but I have to say it anyway, the new Wormrot EP is unbelievable! So much energy in just 5 minutes, it's like a full-length compressed into five songs. I'm going to put this one on repeat for a while!

Anybody heard the Cloud Rat/Wolbachia/Oily Menace three-way split? Awesome stuff, it's been out for a little while but worthy of your time if you haven't given it a go. Especially for Cloud Rat and The Oily Menace's sides, intense stuff. Yet another gem I found out about while browsing the TLAL boards.

Haha yeah man, if you want to know about grind/fastcore then TLAL really is the place to go. Pretty much anything worth checking out gets posted there. I haven't heard the split yet but I've only heard good things. Need to check it out

Definitely! Actually, the split in question hasn't been out for as long as I thought it has, but it still smokes. I really like Cloud Rat's "Orchid covering 'Scum'" approach to their sound. That description may be a bit questionable, but it's all I can really get out of what I hear, really cool stuff. Oily Menace is just fucking brutal and intense, and Wolbachia's vocalist is one pissed mother fucker. I look forward to whatever else these bands do!

Also, any word on new Sex Prisoner stuff? That 7" they put out decimated everything, and then they just kinda dropped off the radar. I think I heard somewhere that they disbanded, but I'm not too sure.

I highly doubt they'll be coming anywhere near me, but I hope those who get a chance to see any of these shows have a fucking killer time. I'm not a huge Nasum fan outside of their early days, but this should be awesome.

I'm not the biggest fan either, especially after Human 2.0 but still. Nasum are fucking Nasum. It would be awesome if they played songs from their split with Agathocles.

Really been digging Magrudergrind's Crusher lately, along with the Sea of Shit demo.

I still have yet to hear Crusher. Every time I set out to do so I decide I want to listen to something else and forget about it completely.

Any newer or relatively unknown (yet quality) "In Battle There Is No Law"-esque albums/bands I should know about? Can't get enough of that sound.
