Okay, first eight are done: but a Russian might want to take a look at some of the corrections for these guys:

http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Dia ... anum/95456

(... and probably the others, just to make sure)

Diabolical North Klanum's lyrics had some weird results when I tried translating them from Russian to English (some transliterated words stood out in the middle of sentences, suggesting the original words were typos, or something...) And there's transliterations for the first demo that I'm not gonna try and guess. I also took a crack at de-transliterating this demo's titles too... somebody might wanna verify that that's correct, too.

ALL TRANSLITERATIONS MUST DIE:
Запись в "Студии на дамбе" - Track titles
Live in Faust - Track titles

oneyoudontknow, last five are done.
Alhadis, I killed these transliterations, and corrected the misprints in the lyrics, so you can try to translate it again.

When you're ready, there's some transliterations that need to be executed, terminator style:

http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Da ... gra/177360

Probably the title, too. <_<;

Later, I will come back for major Japanese bands like Onmyo-Za and Seikima-II. Almost all their releases need to be fixed.

So I have no idea how to fix any of these, but I figured I'd leave links here to bands that need attention in your areas of expertise

http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Vedogon%27/74198

The album info for the band looks okay, though.

EDIT
Leaving some others. I have no idea as to the correct translations, but they ought to be aknowledged. Apologies if I missed weeding out anything already listed.

Not sure if it had been spotted on any lists, but the lyrics in this release contained some mojibakes (as well as some other various places on the band's page), which I went through and replaced with the lyrics/info from the band's site, so that's done.

http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Aura%2B/39083

So I figured I'd bring this one up. the page states "The band's name can be spelled Aura+ in Roman characters or Аура+ in Cyrillic characters". So would it be better to leave it in Roman characters, or change it to the Cyrillic?

The Bosnian language can be spelled with either the Roman or Cyrillic alphabet. Roman alphabet is more common (as in nearby languages like Serbian). Also, the band logo clearly uses the Roman alphabet...

Cyrillic name is 恕. The logo also uses the cyrillic spelling

Name changed.

Btw, that's not Cyrillic, but a Chinese character.

Hello, that's an actual alphabet that's only used on a tiny island off the north coast of Japan. I think it's called ¾Ÿ€€¹ã¿.

Russian Transliterations to be killed (including the album title, I'm guessing).

http://www.metal-archives.com/report/view/id/338380 ... ?!

Quote:
The line up info is in japanese symbols: to add the line up data i used Google Translate

Current line became:
Hiko Watanabe glue - Vocals, Guitars
Swirls put out - Guitars
What Isao Hiroo - Bass
Leaning or Fumi Akihito - Drums

Past Member became:
Nigga or dead - Guitars
Makoto - Bass

This lineup will need a japanese speaking person to look to check what ive done is correct.

Yes, inaholereviews, people in Japanese are named "Nigga or dead" and "Swirls put out". Genius work. :)

Someone added the mojibake'd artists to Altemis' page again. -.- Another warning sent and deleted.

Okay, I think (read: that's THINK) I have a lead on who the vocalist of Altemis is... Mari Hamada:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mari_Hamada
http://www.tri-m.co.jp/artists/mari_ham ... amada.html

Used Google Translate to decipher the notes of one of the few songs I could find on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMdShbn8b04

There's no mention of "Altemis" on her Wikipedia page, though they are a frustratingly obscure band. Barely any hits on Google that weren't on YouTube. I did, however, find out that the Japanese spelling of Altemis is "アルテミス", which Google translates as "Artermis". So that leads me to think that "Altemis" might've, uh, been Engrish or something.

It also makes finding band details a *hell* of a lot harder when you remember that "Artemis" was the name of a Greek goddess. :(

OKAY, I FOUND IT. :D Altemis' line-up is fixed... Mods, you can drop the moderation warning now. :)

Source:

http://japanesemetal.gooside.com/index_ ... tion_a.htm
(Ctrl+F and type "Altemis")

======================================================================
EDIT: Might also interest some of you to know that these were the original Mojibakes that I "repaired" using Notepad++:
Quote:
奈部川ふみ - vocals
じょうくらかずたか - guitars
おかべみねお - keyboards
やまだけんご - bass
すぎもと なお - drums

Naturally I don't that to be 100% accurate (even without the still-fucked bassist's name) so I Googled one of the names and found that page...

Google Translate translated them differently to the names I found on that other page though, but I went with the page's member listings. Somebody who understands Japanese might be able to tell if one or the other is a real name or an alias.
