I'm curious to see a more negative view on Mysticum's full-length.

(Of course I wouldn't mind a handful more positive ones, either, but I like to see some balance.)

One truly underrated and overlooked heavy metal classic. It deserves a review I think :)

Someone should write a more realistic review for Lykathea Aflame's Elvenefris.

Anyone wanna review some underground Japanese metal bands with new albums? It'll give them some good exposure.
Baked Bomb http://www.myspace.com/bakedbomb
and
Rigor Mortis (their earlier demo reviewed on Metal Archives)

Listen to their myspace, and if you're interested, pm me, I'll send you their albums

/long wait for reply/

I'll get around to reviewing. I've been a big slump lately because of work and laziness, but I'll see it through.
Edit: I'll see it through someday.

There, just submitted one for Unbound. Not even close to my best work. Like I mention in the review, that particular style, despite being a personal favorite, is nigh impossible to write about for me. I just don't think I write very well when I feel obliged to do so (probably the main reason I stopped reviewing for MC). Oh well, it was an experiment, I just want to pick up my pace a bit. I think I'll stick with the "rare but up to my personal standards" thing I've been doing for the past two years.

I actually just submitted one for Unbound. Probably not my best work either, but I do like this CD quite a bit. We'll see if it gets past the mods :)

For the past couple weeks, I've been finding places where no reviews exist (or just a few), and submitting one if I feel like I have something to contribute.

My band would welcome a review or two for our demo. You can stream our demo on our facebook page (link in my sig), download the whole demo off of Last.fm, or just pm me if you need the files.

Here's the release page on this site: http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Mortal_Mess/Demo/308122

It seems like Crimson Glory's Transcendence should really have more reviews for being *ahem* the greatest album ever *ahem*. Kinda hypocritical considering even I haven't dared doing it myself, but come on, guys.

Will someone else please, please review Hateform's "Origins Of Plague." It's a great album, but it only has one review, and I'd like to see a proper reviewer's opinion of it.

Noise is frequently envading our ears. We've fed like this before. We've died like this before! Black incripted analog tapes are soon to be distributed within our cult giving reason to survive. To stay updated on the arrival email us at [email protected]

I know this is an old post, and not directed at me, but do you still want this? 'Cause I've submitted a review for Zemial's 'I Am The Dark' EP, and I'm planning on reviewing a few of the band's other releases, as well as the work of bands like Kawir and Agatus.

Not soley on my site. If I send you albums for review you can post them on other sites as long as you mention that they originally written for my site.

Think this clearify your question.

I'd like to see more positive reviews for Anathema's early stuff (first four albums + EPs) and more negative reviews for their later stuff. At the moment their gay stuff gets all the glowing reviews while their early material is completely neglected. We need to work on fixing that.

We need MORE reviews on JAPANISCHE KAMPFHÖRSPIELE, especially for "Rauchen und Yoga" and their farewell album "Kaputte Nackte Affen". Anyone up for this? I will be working on a few of those early Anathema things soon.
Cheers,
Aris

If I wasn't so damn lazy, I'd get on it. Then again, I do like the later stuff. The one I find to be utter shit is A Fine Day To Exit. Can't believe I owned it at one point. Sold it to some indie chick.

I'd really like to see Empyreal review Crimson Glory's self-titled as well as Powerwolf's 'Blood of the Saints'. From what I've read, he is not a fan of Powerwolf - but when I read his reviews I sense a sort of kinship in taste, and I love that thing so much that I'm very curious to read why he isn't a Powerwolf kinda cat. And the Crimson Glory album just seems like something he'd dig and I'd love to read his review on it.

Yeah, and add Transcendence to that. It would be nice to see Empyreal to raise even more awareness for these incredible records, since my fanboy flag has been far risen.

Request on a review for Deathlike's Apega output.
I have the CD (pro-printed, sealed, 200 copies) and I will send it to you. I expect an honest and proper review in return.

MA entry:
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/De ... ega/315123

two tracks of it are available in the player:
http://www.myspace.com/deathlikeband

My interview with the band:
http://www.archive.org/details/ADeadSpo ... ...number7

The band plays old-school death metal.

Noktorn, have you checked out the latest Behemoth album? Before writing my new Demigod review I read a bunch of other Behemoth reviews and thought yours were pretty class. I'd be interested to hear what you have to say about the latest or some of the early black metal shit.

I've heard a few Powerwolf songs and I can't really say why they don't do much for me. They have all the ingredients but it just sounds sort of forced and un-entertaining, despite starting off strong with each track. It's kind of joyless to me...but eh, maybe I'll change that if I hear a full album. I'll give it 3-4 listens and dole out a review.

I'll review the first two CG albums, sure; been a fan of those for years. Transcendence especially is a gem and really influential on a lot of stuff I like now.

I've heard pieces of it since my bandmates are really into it but I don't really like it. I think they fell off hard after Demigod. I'm sure I'll get around to doing more reviews of them when I get more CDs, but as such I just have the three I've reviewed so far.

I don't download music and the CDs I buy tend to be pretty random. I'd prefer to buy 3 CDs I've never heard of for $15 total rather than one Nuclear Blast release for the same price. Makes my collection pretty eclectic and uneven and slanted towards the very underground.
