Cool snakes you got there. Despite their sleek scaly goodness and their jaw-distended eating, I'm too ophidiophobic to own one. :oh shit:

The blue markings on this particular species of coral snake makes it quite distinct

I love many many animals (sometimes more than humans even), and snakes are one of them. Great creatures, they look nice, they live a respectable, albeit simple, life and they are associated with fear and other like-minded traits. Just a cool species overall really, also, really nice snakes you got there dude.

Snakes are alright.... I could never keep one as a pet though... I love rodents too much to want to feed them to one!

Especially after some of my friends got an albino rat... She's fucking adorable.

Wow, those are beautiful snakes! I've always loved snakes; they've been some of my favorite animals for about as long as I can remember. I plan to get a large snake one day for sure. Just the other day, I was out hiking and stepped right next to a rattlesnake. Damn thing was so noisy it scared the crap out of me, but it probably felt the same of me.

How old are those? And about how much do they cost? I really don't know how expensive snakes are.

I like snake as well , it's a pretty beautiful animal , and they're cool with us... usually the human try to fuck with them or something like this , thats why they attack people sometimes.. but the people don't understand , we are in their habitat , so , if they start feeling afraid of something , they will protect themselves.. so , almost all the people who gets attacked by snake , have the reason to be attacked...
So , snakeeeees be freee ! kkk

Snakes always fascinated me, and I always wanted one as a pet. Do you feed them live food?

I got discouraged to wanting to own a snake after I saw Snakes on a Plane. Although I find these creatures to be really fascinating.

Thanks guys!
I hatched the female out back in 2004,the male will be 5 this summer.
I have sold some of my baby Blood pythons for $250,and on up to $800 each.Quality animals will command a higher price, similar to a champion bloodline dog/cat.
Some of the pattern, and color mutations,(albino, stripe) for example will sell for upwards of $2000,$3000 each, depending on the species, and scarcity of the animal.
THANKS again.

Gorgeous snakes, I don't think I could ever own any though. Not that i'm afraid of them, I just think it's too much of a upkeep for me to really want to devote myself to.

Hah, that second picture is full of love!

I owned two little green snakes when I was a child, harmless and cool, used to slide all over the terrarium. But alas, I've stuck to fur over scales these days with my three dogs.

One of my first memories is going to the Philadelphia Zoo with my parents and on that day, a snake escaped from it's cage, somehow. I've been absolutely terrified of the things ever since. OP, if your snakes were in about 100 feet of me I would shit myself.

My brother had a snake for a while. It was white and about four feet long, I believe, though I don't know enough about snakes to know what species it was. It was definitely cool looking, but after it digests those rats, it smells like no other. I could never keep one as a pet, and I'm super glad he got rid of it after a while.

Looked sorta like this:

The YouTube user: infidelamsterdam (his name is Ed, very cool guy) has a whole lot of snakes, and he says they don't bit or anything violent or aggressive like that. So I guess not. I'd love to have a snake myself.

If I'm not mistaken, not all snakes are constrictors. And I think most sane people would devenomize a pet snake.

Oh great, finally other metalhead snake lovers! Beautiful blood you've got there! I have a black kingsnake, a mojave ball python, and a jungle carpet. Snakes are such amazing pets, intricately patterned, quiet, and clean.

I own a cornsnake myself, it's my first (of hopefully many to come) and they're great 'startersnakes'.

A) No, my snake isn't that big.
B) No, because keeping poisonous snakes is illegal here. Don't know about other countries though. But you don't want to get bitten, poisonous or not.

I own 2 corns and a royal python and am picking up a ghost florida king snake tomorrow which I can't wait to get, they make great pets, they are clean and very friendly (well mine are anyway), I have only been tagged a few times by the younger corn during feeding times.

I would recommend them as pets to anyone!!

I find snakes totally fascinating but won't get one as some form of pet or sth. I'm just not the type of guy for pets. Anyway, whenever I see something about snakes in newspapers, magazines or on TV I just have to read or watch it. Since my childhood I've always been interested in both snakes and reptiles (and totally afraid of spiders ;-) ).
the only snakes living in my house are the Python Patrol, some Vipers, a Commander etc. :-D
Have a look:

oh, and that completely white snake looks fantastic... !

I'm more of a spider person (not serious though), and I think owning a snake is illegal in my country. :(

I have a love/hate relationship with snakes. While I find them fascinating and enjoy reading/watching them, I also shoot them on a regular basis when ever I get the chance. We live near a creek that at one point (before my genocide commenced) was infested with cotton mouths. Creepy little devils, laying there submerged in water with their mouth wide open looking up at the sky.

It differs in different states, but here in Australia it's perfectly legal to own some of the world's most venomous snakes. But anything that's not native to Australia is very illegal. The foreigners being illegal is so that we avoid a situation like the US has with Burmese Pythons in the Everglades; the venomous snakes being legal is because there's some crazy bastards out there.

I've got your snake right here... In my pants.

Seriously, though, I think snakes are really cool, but I wouldn't live with one. I'd probably cramp its style.

I would like one, but my mom has a morbid fear of them. I plan to get one someday, don't know which breed exactly. I rather like the snake in the OP, very pretty skin and color.

I've never seen something that awesome. I had no idea that snake eggs and newborns look like that.

I *wish* I could own a snake, but alas, I own two dogs, a Scottish Terrier and a Miniature Schnauzer. Both dogs have an animosity towards just about every species of animal (the schnauzer will even freak out and try to run towards much bigger dogs when on walks). As such, owning a snake wouldn't go over very well with them- somebody, either the snake or the dogs, would get hurt, very fast.

Great looking snake you got there, and very cool that you got eggs!
I have 27 snakes myself. Corn snakes, bull snakes, ball pythons, king snakes, boa's,
Taiwanese cornsnakes and Burmese pythons.
I think it's a great hobby, although I haven't got eggs so far.
