Sorry Alhadis, Encyclopaedia Metallum was forced to reject your submission for the band Ent (Puerto Rico), for the following reason:

Either there is a lack of information, or this band has no apparent discography. Please see rule #7. If this band has indeed released anything and you can show us proof, you can resubmit it again.

... uhm... guys...? I DID link to the distro's release list...

http://www.satanica.org/blackmetal_page_2.php

Second row from the bottom. That is, you'll need to wait for the crappily built page to finish loading, scroll down, and then look up a bit. Yes, sorry that there's not a more direct way of linking you.

We preferred the online distribution but as you can see in one of our promotional flyers (http://www.eva-cant.com/images/Flyer-Promo.gif) there are existing physical copies available of the album and others were distributed the day we launched the album.

Is something else missing?

Thanks,
Andrea.

Probably acceptable, but very borderline : The sound guility is terroble, the guitars are buried in the mix.

Yeah, the quality is rotten. Then again, it's like that with a lot of underground NSBM bands. I doubt Absurd would've been accepted on behalf of their demo, either.

I'll try submitting anyway.

[Edit: It's been blacklisted.]

Do you understand what is a physical release?
Two songs on internet certainly are not. Read the first post in this thread.

hello,

I submitted a band called abesse2/084. Someone submitted the band previously and the band would not accepted.

I don´t know why, so I ask.

It´s a side-project of metal band members of Andrarakh and the band has one physical release.

What do you think about abesse? Can you accept the band now?

best regards

It is no metal and is is also not a band on a label with worldwide distribution.

But abesse´s first release is a CD released through Self Mutilation Service...

But I understood that abesse is not really a metal band, only some influences.

Thanks for the fast answer and best regards

Is there a reason War of Ages isn't on here?

Kind of surprising to see that they aren't, since from what I've heard by them they are melodic death metal/metalcore in the style of Killswitch Engage, All That Remains and many others from the New England scene (even though they are from Erie, PA).

What I heard from them is from their album "Eternal", which is their latest release. I was introduced to them when they opened for Times of Grace. Definitely not a new band either (for some reason I always pictured them to be a bunch of young kids. Not the case, and I was pleasantly surprised).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abjeDTrZLSc (LOL, I thought that "guest vocalist" sounded familiar. Sounds like Killswitch worship, except for the vocals by that guy from POD (which suck))

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFIbAeV_cas

Are the songs from Eternity a departure in sound for the band? Were they more hardcore oriented before this?

Nothing will go smoothly. The band played glam - have you read the rules?
And oner induistrial album will not make them metal, since it sounded like Nine Inch Nails.

Just wondering why you rejected the band Innzmouth although a label actually released their debut single

It is not yet released. Pre-oder does not equal a release.
2/21/11 - Innzmouth - Beneath the Darksome Waters is now available for pre-order, and will be released soon.

Hi, I'm Sinistros from Québec band Poète Maudit. The band has been deleted from your website and I don't understand why as the page existed since 2008 and the overall genre of the band is Black/Thrash Metal.

You can take a look to the official website with download links to the entire discography here: http://www.poetemaudit.com as a proof of the metalness of the band.

Here is my email in case you need to ask me more information and/or answer my question. [email protected]

Thank you for your time,

Sinistros

Does the band have a CD, tape or anything physical out?

Thank you, I did a search with lineup and I found it as we can't see the page with band search. Maybe it's due to the spelling with the "è" in the name.

Many thanks for your answer!

I added in some variations on the spelling of that band, one with a regular 'e' and one with a 'é' that has a reversed accent. Is this okay to do?

Is this a joke? Why is Fate (AOR), Tox (Hard Rock), Def Leppard (Shotgun's debut is heavier than anything they ever recorded) and Ministry listed on this site? I swear you are just playing favorites for who gets accepted on this site. So many hard rock bands listed here it's bullshit quite frankly.

Those bands are here, because we consider them metal. I have told you to read the rules. Ministry were acceptted based on Rio Grande Blood which was enough thrash based. It is you who completely ignores them and wants a band listed based on your personal preference. I have told you to read the rules, so do so and kindly shut up.

Read what it says about glam, hard rock and industrial.

A band I tried adding just got rejected.

I think the issue was lack of proof. I have an album cover. Also, I have the site if you want to visit it.

http://petrychor.com

It has a good amount of information, in my opinion - but let me know if it's still not valid enough.

Thanks.

I don't see why Steelhouse Rockets ain't metal enough? For example Motörhead and Chrome Division are on Metal Archives. Our music is just the same.
Maybe it's ok to reconsider?

Thanks in advance.

Read what it says about glam, hard rock and industrial.

That makes absolutely no sense, Fate is in no way shape or form a metal band and neither are numerous other bands listed here. Whoever thinks an AOR/Melodic Rock band is Metal is a fucking moron. I give up, this is beyond stupid and not worth my time.
