Well I immediately saw a human face but that's might not be what you're looking for. :) Norway is a really beautiful country and you have a great talent for taking photos. I've visited Norway once though it was summer and we only had time for the souther parts but it was still more than a ordinary experience.

Here's a few pics i took in Scotland (really nice country too) this summer. I'm an amateur photographer and only have a shitty camera which take somewhat noisy (or how you call it) photos so forgive if they don't really compete.

Thanks forestcorpse! Those pictures are awesome too! Third picture reminds me of Woods of Desolation - Towards the Depths LP cover. Last picture has an amazing atmosphere, I really like it.

I use Canon Powershot SX200 IS. It's awesome in my opinion. It has great qualities and it's easy to take with you when going for long walks to nature. I usually don't edit my pictures at all.

Thanks!

Some parts of norway (north) are starting to get snow, and mountain ranges.
But not here where i live (south-vest)

But i hope we will get snow this year like we did last winter, then it was the biggest, longest and coldest snowfall in like 20 years.

We're supposed to get 10-20 cm of snow tomorrow here in north-karelia. I hope we do.

666emperor, you do much processing on those images? Granted I've just got a shitty olympus, so either you have an AMAZING camera, you're stupidly talented, or you photoshop a bit.

Some stuff I took this autumn, a tower in northern Manitoba:

It's not scenery so I won't directly link it here, but this was somewhat amusing - although I don't see why people feel the compulsive need to write on everything.

I took photos of the signs attached to the tower, but they didn't say anything interesting.

I have two pictures that when I saw this thread both came to mind, even though they are a couple thousand miles from each other.

Image

This is Hanauma Bay. Its on the island of O'ahu, Hawaii. Its about a 30 minute drive from Honolulu (where I live) and it is one of the best places to snorkel on the entire island.

Image

This is from about two thirds the way up Mount Fuji. The clouds opened up to reveal the mountain range in the distance. I thought it was one of the best pictures I got while climbing Mount Fuji, especially since the clouds covered up the views later in the afternoon.

No I don't do processing at all. I don't even have a photoshop. I guess my camera is pretty good, though it isn't a systems camera.

I have a habit of driving around, camping, and hiking a lot, but that last post at least was all within a full-day trip from where I live. Ice Age and Stonehenge were taken from wilderness hikes, the rest from roads.

Image
The town is on the left in this picture, but all you can really see is the great big AT&T Tower. There's a missile defence site on the right.

Image
I think we're about the only farming region in the world with an average annual temperature below freezing...

Image
And we have cool old stuff from the gold rush (old as in about 100 years). I guess that shot violates the terms of the thread, but maybe I'll get a pass for a place where the setting dominates the buildings? If not, I'll take it off.

Cool man, I grew up north of Seattle and went to college in Bellingham. I used to see you at shows back in the day with your camera gear. Never said hey though. I specifically remember Demoncy since there were like a dozen of us there, haha.

You ever make it out to the mountains? like out past Granite Falls or Darrington?

Note: I may have posted these pictures on here a long time ago. If so I apologize for wasting server space...

Yeah, I often ride the mountain loop highway (at least what is paved) on my motorcycle in the summertime. Never bring my gear though, having no saddlebags is somewhat prohibitive.

Hey, the second pic of forestcorpse is the 2nd one that reminds me of Bathory's cover of 'The Return...'

Now, I took this pic after a storm, and just after seeing the photo I noticed some weird shape in the clouds.
