I'm starting a band,more so a solo project,but mostly what i get is progressive death metal or some weird Devin Townsend-esque metal. I like what i write and i can growl and scream and im probably going to buy drumkit from hell but i cant think of a wicked band name for the life of me.I write about basically what i think about so its all random shit.But i try not to end up writing like some shitty randy blythe ass or something.Just please help with a band name.Maybe something you almost used but found something better. Thanks.

I think you should not ask for a band name on the internet. Your name should come from your idea and be representative of you and your music, especially if it is a solo project. I think what you need is to think deeper about it. It could take a lot of time to find a good band/project name. For me it tooks a couple of mounts, at this time I was just making music without any lyrics and somedays I was talking to someone about a book that I worshipp and telling him how it was great and at this moment the idea came to me that I will take a name from this book for my project name.

I'll make the general suggestion of spell checking any title you come up with. Its just your handle here...

Write music before worrying about a name. Eventually the right thing will come to you.

Sometimes the perfect band name is embedded in your lyrics somewhere.. Or just a general concept you have.

A name can be a delicate affair. Do you want to have a very death metal-esque name? Because then I second Deadly_Slaughter's suggestion, lol. Or are you looking for something satirical, something that has personal meaning, etc.? These are things to consider and it may help with coming up with a name, rather than just trying to string a random name together.
