I've lately been getting back into grind, and am really digging the following:

Insect Warfare
Pig Destroyer
Kill the Client
Trap Them
Bodies in the Gears of the Apparatus
Nasum
S.W.A.A.T.S.

I don't care for lyrical themes, or sub-genres (gore, porno, cyber, hell I don't even know most of them anyways). I just need a list of y'alls favorite grind bands. I know I'm missing out on a lot of them, and I'd really love to know who y'all dig.

Not a problem, I'm (obviously) a massive Grind fan, and vocalist for a potentially Grind band (we're experimenting to find a style we like, but we will have a base of Death or Grind), so I tend to have an unhealthy amount of insight into the genre.

Anaal Natrhrakh aren't grindy at all.
Abysmal Torment is ultra-brutal death.
Burn The Priest aren't grindy.
Dying Fetus really aren't grind, neither are Misery Index after the first full-length.
Arsonists Get All the Girls are total horseshit; not grind.
Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza are Meshuggah/Pantera worship.
Cephalic Carnage have way more than just grindcore in their sound.
The Berserker are industrial death metal.
Stigma are too melodic.
(the) Plasmarifle are technical deathcore.
The Red Chord are deathcore.

Soup, just look through the grindcore help thread. 98% of all grind bands worth a shit get mentioned one way or another.

I also used to be a big grind fan, but got tired of the genre for reasons unknown (this was probably two... three years ago, so I can't recall why), and now that I'm listening again...I forgot most of the bands I even listened to! This was the only place I knew to go to get an extensive list and within three posts I already got one!

Ok, I'll read through it and see what I can compile.

Again thanks for the suggestions, I feel I've gotten more than enough to work with already.

Ignore a lot of Celtic_Fire_666's list. He confused scene kid bullshit with actual grind.

Trust me, there's eight pages or so of quality reccomendations. You'll find what you're looking for.

If you go by sound true, I was going by what the archives classified their genres as, and slightly what sound says.

That's M-A classification wise. I'll give you Nathrakh under the terms, that it is not dominant in their style, BTP, same, Dying Fetus, same, Misery Index, your right, TDTdE, has a obvious Grind in their style, AGATG, the Grind is there, and them being shit is opinion, they aren't the best, but they are decent. I stand by the rest.

Indeed. We separated the grindcore help thread from the scenecore one so we wouldn't get anymore of this crap. Seems people still don't get it though, so I'll post it real nice and big to drill it through all your thick heads:

Deathcore is not grindcore.
