Hi, I'm looking for some death-thrash that has a shit load of delicate turns in the songs like unexpected breakdowns or sudden time signature changes. It doesn't need to be technical, but extreme speed, some blastbeats here and there, energetic riffing and available LPs are a must. I'm looking for bands like Solstice, early Malevolent Creation, "Beneath the Remains" era Sepultura, Incubus and some Morbid Angel.
Thanks!

Was Vincent standing beside you while you wrote that, threatening you with sodomy?

Hmm. Check out Revocation. They're a new band but they have all the qualities you outlined. They're probably a bit more wanker-ish when it comes to the technicality though.

Hellwitch's Syzygial Miscreancy and Invocator's Excursion Demise should fit the bill.

Ripping Corpse's Dreaming With the Dead sounds like the perfect album.

I've heard Ripping Corpse and Revocation. Ripping Corpse is not exactly what I'm looking for, it's too death metal sounding to me. Revocation is, well, overproduced. Thanks for the recommendations though.

Sadus perhaps? Swallowed in Black definitely sounds more thrash than DWTD, but still retains some of the complexity you're looking for.

Check out the more early Sepultura. 'Bestial Devastation', 'Morbid Visions' and 'Schizophrenia' are all better than 'Beneath the Remains', man. Oh, and early Obituary is a must if you like Morbid Angel and stuff. Cheers.

Early Deceased (prior to Fearless Undead Machines) is top-notch complicated death/thrash. Luck of the Corpse, Blueprints for Madness and demos like The Radiation Years are a must-hear for anyone with an ear for top-shelf death/thrash.
