I don't really care what genre but the vocals have to be clean, sung vocals. I'm a fanatic about singing and aspire to become a professional opera singer in time, however I also really like singing/covering metal songs as well. I'm a competent singer with a background in the 'bel canto' method; the problem is is that I'm a baritone and I have a hard time covering a lot of metal where we value vocalists with the ability to sing very quickly at high ranges.

I can't actually think of many singers who remain in the mid-to-low ranges much; the best examples I can give you are later-era Roy Khan with Kamelot and the guy from Dark at Dawn.

Stephen Fredrick, the original singer of Firewind has a good deep voice.

He actually has one of the best voices in the business; his KenZiner days were awesome too. Simply an amazingly good vocalist.

Matt Barlow? Shitty vocalist though.

Are the albums he's on any good though? The last couple from Firewind are pretty shite.

They had a lot more balls back then; it's good stuff. Just ignore the wimpy band they became later.

Bal-Sagoth has great clean, deep vocals when not growling. Check out Hammer of the Emperor, there's no growling involved. Poisonblack also comes to mind.

Well, try Rammstein. They're not on the Archives, but they're definitely close to industrial metal. Try the Reise, Reise album for more melodies and less industrial techno.

To the OP, if you're looking for somewhat operatic baritone vocals, I would recommend Tverd, if you don't mind Russian lyrics. They have three vocalists (two male, one female), but the most prominent has an operatic voice. Also, if you don't mind a huge amount of religious content, Saviour Machine's vocalist is quite good.

Myself being a bass vocalist, Its one of the few albums I can sing along to good.

Also check out Danzig. While he has a developed vocal range and often goes into higher pitch, he gets pretty low on most of his stuff in his solo work.

Try Haggard... damn fat bastard, he sing very nice and deep

Sabaton. Singer has a very nice baritone, and they're epic as hell.

The album Amanethes by Tiamat has some good bassy mostly slow vocals. So do a lot of My Dying Bride songs. You could also try Illumination by Tristania, Osten's voice is a nice hollow baritone, but performs half the vocals.

I'd have to back up Dan Swanö in Nightingale. His voice as always been pretty deep / grainy / un-high-pitched whatever and his music reflects that.
