There seems to be rumblings that someone (Osmose?) is releasing a re-mastered edition of Tara with the "In The Eyes..." MCD attached to it. Anyone heard about this? When it might be released?

I've heard this rumor for a long time now - is this really supposed to be released or is it just rumor?

On Absu's Myspace they have pictures of all their albums on the side of the page, and "Tara Remastered" is the last album on the list. All I have is that little piece of info, and the assumption that it should be released soon.

I know it referenced here on MA as released in September of 2007 but I'm guessing if they are really going to release it, that should be changed.

I know Nuclear Blast's shop in Germany has it listed as "in stock soon" as well as Dis-Order.

This is weird. Tara doesn't need a remaster. The album is pretty new with a modern production and a clear sound.

Guitars could be louder, Proscriptor's kit is pretty overbearing at times. Not that that's too bad a thing.

While I agree it doesn't need an overhauling remaster job, it would be nice to hear a bit more of the guitars and bass in the mix.
