The upcoming album from one of the heaviest bands in the entire death metal genre, Devourment. Pre-orders are already up and I really want a hoodie package, the artwork is wonderful.

Any thought?

I have heard it will be a bit different from the previous releases, anybody know what to expect? Less slam? more technicality? does anybody know?

Mike has said it's going to be just as "heavy", but a lot more dark. They're REALLY into Immolation and Morbid Angel, for example, and wanted to add some darker/dirtier flavor to the relatively plain slam/brutal DM they've been playing.

I like them, but they get bland fast. Maybe this new album will change my mind.

I can't fucking wait. I hope Majewski throws in more of the classic growls he did on their cover of "The Pick-Axe Murders".

I hope they go easy on the gurgling and focus more on grunting..xD but all in all it looks and sounds like its gonna be a sick release
