A bit of not so go stuff here, but the majority of it is fairly impressive.

Some advice, though. Your Myspace page gives off hints of low-self confidence. You should change the "Please add me" caption, and mention the fact that your girlfriend helps you but not the fact that she is your girlfriend.

Did someone else do the logo for you at the top? This looks bad, as an artist should always be able to handle his/her own ascetics, especially the kind they specialize in. And what is with the "redesigned" logos?

Also.... $10? I'd either raise your prices or not charge anything and ask for more in the way of merchandise, ect. with your logos on it. $10 is like telling people that you're not worth much, even if your product clearly suggests otherwise. I think that I'm guilty of this myself, only charging $50!

Sorry if this comes off as a bit harsh, but I think when something other than some one's actual abilities is holding the back it is a bit criminal.

The better logos are my newest, the older ones are crap.

My headline says please add me because people always try sending me messages that I cant reply to because there not my friend.

Someone else did do the top logo, it was included in a free profile design I recieved from a friend.

Redesigned logos are just logos that I have taken and changed a little, or other logos (i didnt do), that I hand drew myself. Like Emperor's. I obviously didnt create it, but I looked at it and did it myself without tracing or whatever.

Usually, the bands or artists I do logos for aren't big bands that can afford to pay $50 for a logo. I have only recently started charging, and once I have worked for $10 each for a while, I will raise my prices again.

Okay, so you are charging twenty-five dollars for something that requires absolutely no effort whatsoever. Sounds reasonable.

However, if you want a friendly piece of advice, I strongly recommend leaving the hall.

Obviously you not liking my logos means that I put no effort into them. That makes sense.

Go back to Metal Hordes with your shitty logos. You said you would work with them at $10 for a while and not even 12 hours later pushed the price to $25. If that is your idea of awhile, at least we know by the end of the week you will have stopped listening to metal. Thank you myspace for what you have done to metal.

I guess Ive stopped listening to metal now. Oh wait... no I haven't. and even if I had, who cares, not listening to metal isn't going to drain my love for art.

In that short while, I started about 6 logos for the $10, and for free, then finished them. My price was raised after 6 more logos. And the fact that I re-read the other guy's post and decided that he was right.

You really should just call your work what it is. "Poorly done generic myspace logos for poorly played generic myspace bands."

Just because I say every logo I have seen looks Generic and Unoriginal doesn't mean I don't have a love for art. No logo done by anyone these days is going to be original, because its all been done before, over and over, But someone has to do these logos. I enjoy doing them. I'm not doing them for you or anyone else to like them, except the bands who request them.

I would not rather stop "adding to the flood" because I want to do logos, and the only way to improve is to do them and practice.

You still haven't explained how my logos take no effort what so ever.

And as for my "poorly done generic myspace logos," if you don't like them, then don't look at them. It's clear the only reason you are posting here is to argue with me about them, so you obviously have some interest in them, or me because your only 2 posts on this forum are in this thread.

If you don't like the bands I do logos for, then why do you even care what they look like. They won't be on albums in your hands.

Man, people love to cry about artists charging for their work. Hopefully it happens more though, so people actualy start taking it seriously as a profession.

I've seen that origionality is not in high demand. People who do competent logos/work in a popular style do well, as this artist has done so to some degree. As an artist progresses and does better, they should demand more for their work, and this progression can happen very quickly.

Of course, if I start getting cds in the mail for free on a regular basis, I'll change my tune.

Stop harassing the man, jeeze. These are hardly the worst logos I've ever seen. If you don't like his work, give him some constructive, non-demeaning criticism and go elsewhere.
