I think Tantalus has the nicest one yet. I'm planning to get a black leather vest and filling it exclusively with old school death metal patches.

The Booby Animal told me that I'm not allowed to get a kutte because they look silly in her opinion. I'm going to get my pants full of patches instead.

wow thanks, I thought mine was rather cruddy compared to most in this thread, especially Tantalus's awesome leather jacket. I would sew some patches onto my biker jacket but I just can't bring myself to bring a needle to the leather.

Tantalus gets my vote. It has the best patches.

Cheers guys! I've edited my post to include a better photo of the back. It's impossible to get a good one of the front as there are patches like my Silencer and Hellhammer ones that are really tucked away, plauys shitloads on the sleeves. My favourite from this thread other than my own (obviously) is PlagueRages'. It's very rad looking.

PS Mine's fake leather, as I'm a veggie.

I haven't really done much searching, but can anyone tell me if there's a one-stop-spot online to get tons of patches? It would save me the trouble of ordering individually from a mess of websites.

I've been working on mine for about six months. It still needs a few dozen more patches before I move onto another one.

A lot of the patches I received from band members themselves, such as the Nocturnal Fear and Summon ones, and I got the Warhorde one as part of my payment for an album cover. I'm also doing some thing for Ares Kingdom right now, which I am very excited about.

The backpatch was hand painted on fabric cut from an old pair of jeans. I wish I waited to get some better fabric, but it still looks pretty cool in that DIY thrashpunk fashion.

It's gotten vomit, piss, shit, a huge variety of alcoholic drinks and several other things on it, and has never been washed. Luckily I wear it out in the rain as much as possible:)

For those looking for one stop patch shopping (other than rockabilia, of course)-

http://www.hellsheadbangers.com/

http://www.blackenedmoon.com/ I bought a bunch of stuff from Chas (Summon, Nocturnal Fear) last time I was in Lansing, MI. He's not the best about updating stuff, but he's a really nice guy and is pretty good about getting stuff to you. He doesn't have pictures of all his stuff, but I'm pretty sure all of his patches are really high quality as the 5 got from him where.

If I ever get some money I'll try to make one with: Anathema, Bathory, Celtic Frost, Deceased, Entombed, MDB, Running Wild, Dissection, Sodom...and others. More traditional metal patches if I can find them. Couldn't leave out bands like Candlemass and Saint Vitus and Trouble either though. Guess I'll need a big vest.

The back of your jacket is incredibly awesome, mate. The Sarcofago patch looks great adorning the top of it all.

You could try www.metalboerse.de, they have a lot of patches (they even had the Manowar - Gods of War patch for a while). www.ori-store.com is also a good site. I've ordered a few times there and I've got no complaints.

Tantalus's jacket is the best so far and Frag Pirate, I like your black jacket but I like it better from the front.

I wish I had one.

I'm going to buy some patches. I don't have a denim or leather vest, but I have this jacket that would look really good with some patches.

Soon I'm gonna goto Mad Patcher and get a grip of em'.

I've heard different things about Mad Patcher's stuff. Either that it's shit, or that it's just standard screen printed stuff although with hemming, which doesn't take as much punishment as woven/embroidered patches. the few printed patches I have have sustained a bit of damage, but they look like they're going to last for a while

Like MW eh? I get a lot of shit among my friends for listening to them, although Landphil gave me a Cannabis Corpse cd after seeing my patch at a show. Most of the metalcore fags that bought The Art of Partying don't do anything with the patch.

Haha, the only pics I have of my vest, you will have to endure myself wearing it. Haha.

Patches include:

Pungent Stench, Carass (backpatch), Nihilist, Amebix, Nunslaughter, and Death.

The program I used on my pc to take the pics inverted the text and whatnot or something haha, so the patches look backwards? Still working on the studding a bit..might make me another vest when money allows.

Its kind of funny to see a punk-style jacket with a skanking guy (the DRI logo, right?) mixed with thrash band logos.

So far this is the only one can rival Tantalus's jacket. I like this one, simple yet cool. Doesn't looks too mess up/unorganized.

I've been into metal for a long time, and so I finally decided to make myself a metal vest, or thrash jacket as mine will mostly be. Got a denim jacket from wal-mart (either because I'm lazy or because spur of the moment decisions aided by conveniently placed cheap stores is totally underground, you be the judge) and have ordered several patches from Rockabilia.

Right now I've got waiting:
Master of Puppets back patch (because my brother claimed the shirt)
Megadeth logo
Anthrax logo
Exodus logo

I'm mostly into classic thrash and florida death metal, so I'll collect more and post a picture as soon as it's decent.
