the kings of death/thrash

what do you choose?

I choose Morbid Saint due to their almost black metal approach, real dark, gritty thrash metal of the highest order.

you?

I haven't actually heard Demolition Hammer (yeah, yeah, curse me), but I've heard bits of Morbid Saint thanks to that ass-kissing thread. :) What I heard of Morbid Saint was pretty good, and worth getting the CD for.

To the OP, your choice was obvious due to your username. ;)

You should probably put way more thought into your post than just a simple one-liner, especially considering most of these "versus" topics get locked rather quickly.

you would be wise to check out Demolition Hammer, much in the same vein.

I'm starting to get into these old-school bands that I shunned before, so maybe Demolition Hammer is another worthy one to try.

I should recommend you the band Aspid, if you like Morbid Saint. If you can handle the ridiculously-yet-unintentionally humourous Russian vocals, then you're in for a real treat. One of the fastest, aggressive thrash albums I've heard recently. Might be right up your alley, and others that like that kind of rough thrash.

MikeyC would check them out only if they wore wrist bands, played CHUG CHUG riffs and the band's name was "Don't Forget to Water the Shrubs (with Tears)"

To the OP. Thankfully, these bands aren't like the Highlander. You can listen to both.
