This was posted on the Nirvana 2002 MySpace fan page. I thought I'd put it here too to help them out. The sooner they find these recordings, the sooner Relapse can put this CD out. I came up empty on another site but hopefully someone around here has a copy of this tape from back in the day...

HELP REQUIRED FOR THE CD COMPILATION!!!

Hello to all friends!
The work for the definitive compilation of Nirvana 2002 is going well, there is only one thing missing: in 1992 Orvar made a remix of the 'Promo 91' and 'Mourning' with different vocals; sadly he lost his tape, and no the other members, nor their close friends have it!

If someone of you have it please contact us now!
We'll forward your message directly to Orvar.. PLEASE HELP US!!!

Remember:
The 92 remix of 'Promo 91' and 'Mourning' with different vocals.
It's been remixed, so also the sound is different, but the vocals are the easy way to tell if it's the 92-version..
Orvar give these suggests to recognize the 2nd version:
-At 0.
47 of "Snake" there should be screams (there are no screams there on the original mix)
-The remix of Mourning has a count in of Erik hitting the drumsticks together four times.

Thanx for your interest! Cheers,
William 'Erkitu'
PG 'Uncolored'

Sure does. Although I think I speak for a lot of Swedish death metal and Nirvana 2002 fans here: I'd rather have a CD tomorrow without the remixes than to wait a year and get a CD with a crappy third-gen dub of the remix, or no remixes because they kept looking but never found them. My main interest is in the demos and the "Projections of a Stained Mind" material - I could live without remixes.

But if they can find them soon and get this CD out, more power to them!
