I've seen Cattle Decapitation before, while certainly not one my favorite bands they put on a great show; the lead singer is insane and humorous.

Book of Black Earth however, suck.

I got the new CD earlier this week from Metal Blade. It's pretty freaking insane. His vocals get better and better on each album if you ask me. Drums are all over the place too.

Saw them at a fest a year or two ago. Probably most amazing vocalist I've seen on stage ever. If you weren't acquainted with metal, you would have assumed someone was mutilating a pig in that place.

I like Cattle Decap a lot, and I have seen some live from Summer Slaughter, damn that singer is infuckensane!

I saw them not too long ago in a smaller venue and it was fuggin' awesome. The stage was only about two feet higher than the floor and there was no guardrail. When ever people would bump into him from moshing or what have you, he would fuckin karate kick them back into the audience. Travis Ryan (the vocalist) is pretty intense live.

Cattle Decap have terrible lyrics. all pro-vegan feminist homosexual bullshit.

well they kicked so much ass! me n my freind talk to the bassist, he was soo cool and i met his wife too, she kick ass. we sat on the fuckin stage less than a foot away frm them, they didnt care theyre so cool

oh and black book of earth were fags they literally kicked my freind off the stage and i didnt wanna get kicked so i just got off. fuck those fags. the other guys were cool with us sittin on the edge of stage, and this band destroy the opposition that opened, they kick so much ass, we were like the only 12 year olds at the concert so he thought that was cool i guess so he hooked us up with free shirt n cd.

I'm enjoying The Harvest Floor, it's good enough to get me to go on the 6th. I'll be looking forward to them, how was Pysopus? I've never heard them as well as Gigan. Book of Black Earth is fucking lame and terrible live, I saw them open for Watain and it was full of poserdum.

i saw em live when they opened for Deicide, good then, but again-during the Humanure era. great guys-been friends with them for a long long time but K.B.K. is a great example of "this band cannot grasp song writing..."

psyopus were decent. gigan, they are very talented musicians and their guitarist is really cool and funny, but their stuff is just a constant shred-fest, no memorable riffs, and boring. great to mosh to, but if you just listen, its boring. the funny thing is, the littler bands opening were much better than the bigger ones like gigan or psyopus. bedlam of cacophony and destroy the opposition were best openers. cattle kicks all their asses though lol

I just listened to The Harvest Floor last night and was shockingly impressed. I wasnt expecting much as my interest in them has died down in the last couple of years but its actually pretty damn good. And yes, they are amazing live, one of the bests. I'd love to see them again playing the new material.

Was looking for a friggin Cattle Decap thread... about the new album... this was the closest I could find.

I recal seeing them open for Behemoth and Suffocation... seeing them, and then ending with Suffocation. well. let's just say I don't really remember Cattle Decap much

For the people that have the new record or have heard it, I've seen a few reviews. I'm reviewing it at the moment and am I the only one that gets a little bit of black metal vibe coming through? Maybe it's just my stupid ears, i don't know.

I'm going to see them tomorrow in Atlanta. I didn't listen to much of the other bands playing though.

I'll be there tomorrow as well. Look for me at the very front of the line/stage, I'll be wearing the Toxic Holocaust shirt and hopefully patched denim jacket.

I saw them open up for Vader, and I was really impressed with the sounds that came out of the vocalist. They were definately the best band on that tour.
I do remember him spitting these golf ball sized saliva balls all over the place which was pretty fucking awesome.

Uh, first off as much as I enjoyed them live they definitely did NOT top Vader. Vader was monolitic that tour, at least when I saw them. The vocalist kept hocking lugees up in the air and trying to catch them in his mouth... and he had it all in his beard, it was disgusting.
