As far as I know and read just recently, Rob Barret (Cannibal Corpse) is currently a member of a US band Solstice (http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=2531). The page on Metal-Archives says different. Who is right?

Why should one be wrong?

I think that Rob Barret participated to Solstice as a side project, but the band hasn't actually been active lately.

Was Vincent standing beside you while you wrote that, threatening you with sodomy?

k, from what i know (i keep in contact with Dennis but haven't in a bout 5-8 weeks)

the band restarted since they were always friends anyway a few years ago
they were going to have Barrett rejoin but he's a busy fellow so they opted to restart the Pray lineup
songs were already half crafted by the point by some individual members so the collaboration was easy (as far as finishing songs)
last i heard there was a drummer switch (metal archives should have that taken care of)
and then they recorded the new songs (recordings are done by the way...)

Barret was NOT part of the recording, but he might be in the band as of this week-i am not sure, i will have to look into that, but it might not be for a few days and i might forget haha....

Great band. If anyone has a copy of the self-titled debut for trade, check my trade list as I've been after it for ages, (Any version will do).

Good news to learn that they are actually recording again too, I wasn't sure if anything was going to materialise.

It might be that he is just a recurring guest for the band. I've noticed in alot of band listings on this site that some guys are listed as guests on the former members sections and some are not. It might be just due to how extensively they are involved. Peter TÃĪtgtren for example is noted on Hypocrisy's M-A page that "he played with Malevolent Creation for awhile", but he is not mentioned as among any of the former members on their page.
