could anyone recommend some good distros with a variety of metal patches?
I'm not looking for ones similar to rockabilia, but a more independent distro

your suggestions are much appreciated.

Abyssic Records and Metal Disc are my two favourite, also check out Hell's Headbangers. As for Punk stuff, Interpunk and Crustpunks.com.

Could you just google it : P?

http://www.skinniesrecords.com/ has a lot of merchandise. Almost all of the patches are punk besides Bathory, Carcass, Emperor, and Hellhammer (at the bottom of the patch page).

Hells Headbangers has a lot of old school death metal, black metal and thrash patches. They restocked last week so they have a lot right now.

I don't know why that posted twice. But yea, google for it and it should be the first one, same goes for the others.

The End has some good stuff there. I can't remember the url though, so some searching may have to be done.

I've heard there's a guy on myspace called the Mad Patcher who does some really good custom work. I haven't used it before, though.

I've heard from some that he does shoddy work, and from other that he does quality work. I'm probably gunna get one patch from the guy just to see what they're like.

Some patches look pretty sick when they are worn out a lot, especially my Hellbastard one :metal:

If it rips apart though, you should ask for a refund.

I've heard that mad patcher's patches are just scanned logos/album covers on iron on patches that wear out very quickly.

Check out punkstuff.com, they have a HUGE selection of back patches (Punk, Crust, and Metal) for only $5 and they're good quality too. they also have a few "small"patches which are more like superstrip ones for $1

How reliable are Abyssic Records and Metal Disc? I just got a denim jacket and am searching for patches.

Metal Disc has an OK selection of stuff, and stuff ordered arrived within two weeks of it being shipped. I can't say anything about Abyss records, parents ordered stuff from there for Christmass this year(They have the best selection of black metal patches Ive seen for an American distro though).

There are some excellent patches here.
Does anyone know of any sites/distros specializing in more underground black metal patches?
