Nice. I know the powerball comes with 4 channels but does it come with any effects?

No, it doesn't.

Kick ass!

Effects don't come on good amps, exception being the high end modelers.

I love the focus feature on this amp. It makes every note discernible, even at high gain settings.

I was just asking because a lot of the Marshall heads I've seen come with reverb.

Also, how is the Fireball (if you've played it)? Is it worth the price or should I save up a bit more to get the Powerball?

I love Engl amps, but my favorite model is the Ritchie Blackmore signature. Great simplicity and versatility.

I have a powerball as well. Best amp ever. The only thing I fucking hate about it, is that, when you put it really loud (50%, that is) it gives loads of feedback. Turning up the noisegate is a good option, that's for sure. But it still gets me on my nerves...

Dude almost every amp comes with reverb, whether it be digital or spring. It's not a very labor intensive effect.

Where is your gain at? I could play on Channel 3 with the gain knob at 9 o'clock and be plenty saturated. If I went over noon it would feedback really bad, like you said.

My gain is also at about 9 o'clock. If you went over noon, my guess is that you would/should have some serious feedback, if your noise gate isn't turned on. Also, it could depend on the guitar you use.
