There's tons of stuff you can play. I mean just because you play acoustic doesn't mean you HAVE to play acoustic songs. You could trying experimenting, and playing some death metal on it or something, throw around some ideas and such. Try playing some Necrophagist on acoustic, that would be cool to see. Necrophagist is a little advanced, but 3 years of acoustic playing, depending on the style, I think you could pull it off.

Into fingertouch acoustic guitar?

Check out the compositions of Michael Bridges.

Some Classical Guitar that I like and would recommend trying.

Bourree by JS Bach

Recuerdos De La Alhambra by Francisco Tarrega

Spanish guitar god that you should check out: Andres Segovia.

By the way, what type of strings do you have?

And do you intend to learn new stuff with pick or fingers? The stuff I listed several posts above are geared towards finger playing.

I have nylon strings.

I dont mind playing with fingers or pick, but I want to get better at playing with a pick ,so songs that require a pick to play would be recommended.

Im 17...its never to late to pick up guitar again right?

The acoustic intro to Gargoyles, Angels of Darkness by Rhapsody. It's very fun to play on an acoustic guitar :)

Not at all, brother. The phrase" You can't teach an old dog new tricks" does not apply.

... I'm not calling you a dog by the way.

about a year.

I really want an electric, but thats not happening until I move out.(my mother thinks that if I cant play the music I like on an acoustic, there is no point in getting an electric)

I think I'll check out some blind guardian stuff, thanks peeps!.

also, anyone know where to get Keep of Kalessin tabs, since a lot of their stuff can be played on acoustic.

Im sure that if by the end of this school year (im a junior) if I keep my grades up, I'll be able to convince her into letting me buy an electric.

A lot of black metal is pretty fun to play on guitar, so long as it isn't TOO hard. Deathcrush is fun as fuck.

On an unrelated note, my E string exploded in my face when I was tuning. On yet ANOTHER unrelated note, my window broke and my guitar was destroyed.

FUCK.

All the old inflames acoustic breaks are easy to learn and sound really good. The song the jesters dance is fun, try finger picking the intro to the jester race! That would sound killer! If you can figure it out can you send me a tab? I've been wanting to play that intro for ever and I can't find a tab for it and I'm too dumb/lazy to figure it out. Opeth has alot of classical guitar shit on their records that would probally get some praise from your mom, If your really bad ass break her off with some malmsteen classical guitar!

Sisters, by Steve Vai.

Its just wonderful on acoustic.

I've played on my audition for music college, and got accepted - though never started... :(

By the way, most metal material don't sound that good on nylon strings. It'll be mostly for classical stuff, flamenco, etc.
