I think it'd be interesting to do one for metal albums pre-1981 or something.

Only without Sabbath, Maiden, Priest and Motorhead. ;)

Well Motorhead had like 4? albums prior to 81 compared to Black Sabbath's 8 or 9 and Judas Priest's 6 not including live albums. So I'd be fine with including Motorhead. Maybe a mini survey prior to doing it to limit Black Sabbath and Judas Priest to two albums each?

Good idea, because I'm afraid otherwise the list will consist only of the aforementioned bands' albums.

I'm a little surprised that Reek... didn't beat out From Enslavement to Obliteration and World Extermination. The Inalienable Dreamless should have been a lot higher, and Jouhou should have at least been on the list, if not in the top ten; even though i didn't put either of those albums on my list cause i'm retarded. Glad to see Watchmaker sneaking in there.

Just my thoughts.

Hmm..."The Matter of Splatter" is merely a song. I think the person who voted for it meant to say the Anatomy is Destiny album. Should it count as a two-vote album?

Thanks for the heads up, I checked it out and you are right (not that I doubted you). So yes, the Exhumed album has been added to the overall list.

CMMMMMMOOOOOOOONNNNNNN!!!!! Is it too much to ask for one Mortician fan? :) The other theory i have as to why they didnt get a vote. All the albums sound the same, so its just too damn hard to pick one favorite :p

Yeah, I think that about covers it. I like Mortician a lot. However, every single one of their albums is essentially the same: brutal to a maximum, full of samples, and wonderful drum machine programming throughout - which is why I love them. I expect them to stay that way forever, and they'll never let me down. Not sure if any of their albums would make my top 15, but even if they did, I could never decide on 1 or 2 of them.

Reverse those.

Thanks for catching that; fixed!

there are some albums that don't have to do with pure grindcore...see necroticism, anatomy in destiny or the general surgery one.
yes terrorizer is on top, but bands like discordance axis, phobia, blood, inhumate or dead infection deserves to be there also.
