I think it sounds awesome! Im loving the leads in this song.
Production sounds as if this could have been a bonus track off of The Apostasy.

It's not too bad, it's more of their Apostasy sound which isn't a bad thing, but seems to be like it might be one of their more filler songs instead of the "single". At least I hope, they have a knack for writing some really catchy songs.

Overall, nothing's changed really same ol' solid Behemoth. :metal:

Pretty good, but as you said it sounds like an out take from The Apostasy. I'll have to give it another listen to really tell though.

Yeah, Im sure Behemoth made this EP so that we dont get too bored until their next full length.

For what could be an outtake from The Apostasy it still rocks hard.

Personally I thought that it sounded horrible, its so repetitive and boring and except for the two first song, his vocals are in a blck metal sylte, its not bad but im just into more death.

Decent EP. Although I have never thought Chant for Eschaton was ever any good and I see no real difference between the original and the re-done version. Why do they continue to play it at every show? Qadosh is fairly good, can't wait for some more material. I am a big Behemoth fan, old and new.

Does anyone know if the live album is going to be a dvd as well?

I downloaded the new EP. The songs pretty good. The covers are really cool, and the live stuff is the best they've recorded live.

I actually thought the former version had way better dynamics. Now it's just flat. As for "Qadosh", there's nothing about this song that excites me. I think they just cement themselves further into their own (very limited) formula.

So where's the new song? Isn't this just a re-recording?

I haven't heard much Behemoth so I can't really compare it to their other stuff, but I do like this new song.

The new song is up on their MySpace. Very Apostasy-ish... Heard on and interview with Nergal and MTV's Headbanger's Ball Blog that the EP is basically just killing time til the next album. Kind of underwhelming since it's just covers, remixes (Ezkaton), and one new song.

If this is an outtake than I seriously have to wonder who's really running Behemoth because it's better than the whole of The Apostasy.

What a lifeless, shitty album. Behemoth, please get some intensity back. :(

I would say they peaked with Demigod. The Apostasy was okay at best, but going to be next to impossible to live up to the Demigod standard imo

It's a good song. I can't wait for some real new material from these guys though.

Sounded pretty poor to me to be honest, sounds like an Apostasy reject, really the whole EP seems fairly uninspired. Ok, it's mostly live songs which are fine, but still, the actually recorded songs seem really tired. I'm generally fairly supporting of modern Behemoth but that's pretty average.

Apparently they have a live album out by the end of the month as well, as in, a full one. I'm wary, I've already stated my opinion on their recent output, so I'll give it a download and see if it's any good.

New song is nowhere near as good as the stuff they did on Demigod. You should check that album out :)

Sounds just like anything off of The Apostasy. Great.

Impressive song, but as everyone else has said, it may aswell have been on The Apostasy.

There's something about the production on The Apostasy that I don't really like, I much prefer stuff like Zos Kia Cultus and Thelema 6.

The production in ZKC and Thelema are like night and day.
I dislike the sound of Thelema, and totally love the sound of ZKC, which is clearly their best record in the means of songwriting and producement.

The new song is good, can't wait to buy the EP. Only if I could find Antichristian Phenomenon and Bewitching the Pomerania EP:s...

I didn't say they were the same, I meant I preferred both of them to The Apostasy.

What are the various “gods” that consistently appear on their albums?
I guess this is their theme?
